Well,.here I am AGAIN! I've been sipping on some well deserved wine so forgive my directness as well as my grammatical errors.
I am open to meeting a fit, funny, intelligent, kind, loving, secure, self assured, witty, man. (Those attributes were intentionally listed in alphabetical order). Physical attraction is muy important to me as well as mutual chemistry and stimulating conversation. I must have a man that I am physically attracted to...so you gotta be tall. 5'10" is the minimum height requirement for the CeLaPorta ride and this ride only accepts E tickets. Short men, I love you but I gotta have a tall dude. And I gotta have a physically fit dude. Guys...I beg of you. You gotta be fit. I'M FIT, so you gotta be FIT. 1) Not bothering with those who aren't in same "place" - meaning, if you're not looking for lifelong, deep, mature connection, and don't have Christian faith, please move on. Also, no current/multiple pictures, NO response. Quid pro quo. If you're hiding, why would I bother? Ante up!
2) People who don't tell the truth - BUZZER sound - that's too bad. As a pastor recently shared: "To really be Loved, you have to be Known; to be Known, you have to be Honest."
3) When I say I'm Christian, it means a personal relationship w/Jesus Christ, not a tradition or cultural upbringing. I know Whose child I am. Hope to meet my "helpmate."
4) [M-word ALERT!] I'm marriage-minded, so if you don't want to touch it with a 10' pole (make that 90'--ha!), keep on clicking elsewhere. BUT! I understand that THAT takes time/discernment from both parties. Want to grow old with my partner/best friend in a committed relationship before God (and get off this site!).
5) Hope to "get out of the city" in the not so distant future, out of the "LA rat race". Like being down in the OC.
6) Enjoy college football season as I stepped away for a few years. Pac-TWELVE?! "What the...?" Stanford ranking?! "When the...?" Didn't have NFL alliance after Elway retired, followed Broncos again with great role model of Tim Tebow. Have loved hearing about Jeremy Lin's journey too. All to His glory.
7) I "reduce / reuse / recycle". If you're wasteful (i.e. not good steward of your resources), we're not going to get along. =( Love a good deal / discount / coupons. =)
8) Definitely an extrovert, active go-getter. Grateful for very unique life experiences, traveled/studied in Europe, Asia, and Persian Gulf; lived in various States, appreciate Midwest values.
9) Comfortable speaking one-on-one, or before hundreds (as long as I'm prepared!). Can be loud, (dare I say) obnoxious cheerleader type, but also know the value of "being still..." (finish the verse).

MUST BE lean / active / athletic, health-conscious (Be a good steward of the bodies God gave you! If you're making your heart work harder than it was designed to, you're the only one losing out on the life God intended for you!)

If you have kids, I'm completely sympathetic to the bond that will always tie you. The most important role you will EVER have in life is being "present" as your child's father (of course, this ties in w/faith). =)

Pet peeve on profiles: guys who only have pictures with sunglasses. Not sharing your eyes (windows to the soul!) is perceived by women as hiding. Not interested in going through life without genuine connection. God builds our character through growing in relationships / in community.
