Date a woman from United States. This is the part where I get to tell you how perfect I am, and how perfect my life is, and how perfect I am for you...right? Wrong. Because guess what? I'm not perfect. And guess what again? Neither are you. I have flaws, just like everyone else, and there are times in my life when I wish I could have made better choices and said all the right things. People are unique, so it's difficult to list exactly what I am looking for. Isn't every woman wanting a man who is affectionate, kind, intelligent, honest, emotionally available, loyal, blah, blah, blah? Who wouldn't want those things? I would prefer not to set up expectations about who I am, or who you need to be, because invariably people will often start acting in a certain way in order to "fit" the expectation. What I'm really looking for is a man who can just be his authentic self with me, not someone who is trying to make himself fit into who he thinks I want him to be...and I would like the same in return. Just be honest and real.
For example, I recently experienced a very shallow-minded man who rattled off a literal checklist of likes and dislikes, that I was expected to have all the right answers to, in order to "fit" what he was looking for. Although I appeared to have "passed" the test, he was genuinely disappointed that I hadn't chosen Sammy Haggar over David Lee Roth. He even stated, "ok, I can overlook that, not a major dealbreaker." This would normally be what I consider sarcastic humor, except...he wasn't joking. Lol! Moral to the story: if you are of similiar mind, and can't appreciate an educated, confident, attractive, affectionate, and happy woman for who she is, even if she has some differences in opinion from yours, we probably won't be a good match! ;)
