I enjoy being physically fit and have been that way my whole life. Luckily, I have some natural athletic talent which helps when skiing down black diamonds at Squaw Valley. I exercise 3-4 days per week and have a variety of activities that I like to do and am not obsessed though with any particular fitness area. So, I will go on a bike ride, go for a run, play a game of tennis, take a yoga class, roller blade (yes I can do that pretty well actually), scuba dive, snow ski, and even water ski.
I am a little obsessed over one thing and that is growing heirloom tomatoes - and I currently have a gopher problem and they have killed two of my plants recently, so if you have "gopher killing skills", please help a girl out.. LoL.
I have learned to balance the three main aspects of my life : 1) the professional work side here in high tech Silicon Valley; 2) the Mom side to wonderful elementary school age kids, and 3) the single woman aspect to my life. I have been divorced for a long time and share 50-50 custody with the kids' Dad who lives close by.
I grew up in Miami, Florida and got my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Computer Engineering. I have worked on some cool things like F-16 fighter jets and communications satellites. Later, I got an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Been in high tech sales for a long time and love closing deals and also sold real estate in Palo Alto for several years.
I was raised in a reformed Jewish household and consider myself Jewish even though I do not attend a temple or belong to a JCC.
Travelling is very exciting and I have been to 30 countries and there are many more to see. I work to live, not the other way around :-) I have been travelling solo for the past four years and it would be nice to travel with someone again.
