I'm pretty clear on what I am looking for, have learned, and what I value as priorities in my life. I am looking for an authentic, loving, and honest relationship. I believe in reciprocation. By giving love, trust, honesty, kindness, warmth, compassion, understanding, consideration, respect, loyalty, joy, etc. I desire to receive it, too! I am a very heart-centered person. I honor others and I like to be honored. I adore being treated like a lady and appreciate it with my whole heart.
I've learned to forgive. I've learned to be open and not shut down. I've learned listening is a skill and communication is key in the success of a healthy relationship. I've learned to love with my whole heart. I've learned to choose my battles. I've learned that all we have is this moment and I take it for everything it is worth.
As for priorities, my son means the world to me. I share 50/50 custody with my ex-husband. We have a very healthy parenting relationship and our son has benefited, as he is very loving, respectful and well-adjusted. I am very blessed! I value all of my family and friends. When in a relationship, my partner becomes a priority. I enjoy time spent together with warmth and affection.
I truly strive for love, peace, balance and joy in my life and hope that you do, too. I believe in God and although I was raised Lutheran, I now consider myself to be very spiritual.
This is how my son describes me, "My Mom is loyal, loves to laugh and take pictures, a lot of pictures (he emphasizes a lot).
I am originally from Chicago and have the Midwest core values and feel that I can relate well to others.
