I am a very optimistic about life and all that it has to offer, my cup is always half full, never half empty. I have two children, both have finished university and are on their, neither married so not a Grand Dad yet.
I have lived a full and interesting life, originally from Canada, but have lived in Spain, Singapore, and United Kingdom, recently move to Marin County. I Left the corporate world a number of years ago to put on my entrepreneur’s hat which I think fits very well, so well that I will never take if off.
For the last eight years I have been away from my family, except for the odd visit, me to them or them to me, I realized a few months back that I was missing being close to my family and that I wanted to be closer, so decided to move my business from the UK to the SF so that I could be close to my sister’s who has a large, warm and loving family unit. We all sometimes have second thoughts once we decided in a dramatic change in our lives but after being here only a short period of time I know that I have diffidently made the right choice.
Not wanting to bore you any longer with my past, I would like to try and tell you a bit about me or how I see myself.
I look at myself as being strong in character, intelligent, confident of my own abilities, an adventitious risk taker, who believes that anything is possible if you are willing to work for it.
I have a playful sense of humour, which can be witty as well as a bit dry at times, I think my jokes are funny, but I admit that everyone does not always have the same opinion.

I try to be a gentleman at all times and try to respectful of others feelings, I try never to force my beliefs or opinions on others, but I am always ready for an intellectually stimulating debate about almost any topic.
I am comfortable in a black tie as I am in jeans (Dockers), I would rather read than watch TV, love entertaining friends, love good food, good wine and good music, and I know my way around the kitchen which I enjoy sharing with my partner.
