Meet single man from California, United States. I am a product of the 60's, high school, dragging Main St. after the football game, J.F.K., American Graffiti, Marine Corp, Vietnam, college, tons of art classes, bartending nites, school days, disco, Earth, Wind Fire, Kool and the Gang, the joy two terrific children, the wonder of three grandchildren. I am also an only child to two wonderful aging parents who now needed my help. So, a year and a half ago, I returned to my home in Salinas to make their lives easier. I was a graphic designer in the Portland area for over 30 years, but when they called needing my help, returning home was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, my friends couldn't pack up and move with me.
Now I'm starting a new chapter in my life and would like to meet a woman with similiar likes and interests. It's been years since I've escorted a date to a concert or to a museum or a aquarium or just be tourists. I hope you will want to show me your favorite spots and eat at your favorite restaurants.
Physical activity, creativity, and curiousity are mainstays in my life.I'm starting to bike more and would enjoy company or show me the paths you enjoy. I've adapted a dog seat so I can take Zoey on some rides. I enjoy photography, so I always carry a camera. I recently bought a GoPro video camera. So now I'm recording some of my trips and posting them online.You've been wanting to go dancing, so have I. If you've wanted to learn a new step...me too. Samba feels good. I've been taking Zumba fitness for a couple of months now and it's crazy fun and I'm enjoying every sweaty minute. I wants to make sure that my 65 year old body can keep up with my 40's years old mind.
Just this past June, I did a tandem skydive from 18,000ft. over beautiful Monterey Bay. It was the ultimate thrill ride and view was awesome! You could really see the curvature of the Earth. The great thing about it was that my son jumped with me. He's a licensed skydiver. While it was his 96th jump, this was my first.

Date a soulmate from California, United States. My life has been just about the best! Sure I have had ups and downs but.... I have 2 children, a home and have traveled a lot. I wish to find a lady to share my travels with!! I really enjoy my hiking and taking a lot of pictures (esp wild flowers). If two years ago someone had told me that i would be cooking a lot of great food...I would have told them they are crazy. These days i now cook chili verdi, many chicken receips, ginger snaps (my all time from childhood) cookies. Just recently have ventured into making granola. So if you are looking for a fellow who now is a cook i am you man!!!

Some would say that I am just a wee bit nuts. Why else would someone take a drive up to Reno just to have lunch? Nice drive, and good food.
One of the problems is that I have outlived many of the folks that I used to know, and no longer have anyone to share lunch with.

If I had the time and money, a never ending road trip would be in order. Just travel from one place to another, and stop along the way to take photos. But, alas, I have time, but little spare change feed the gas pumps.
