Date a woman from United States. Hi. I have been on Match.com twice and had luck meeting people. Each time, I ended up dating the 2nd person I met on here for 9 months. Maybe my third time on Match.com will be the charm. I took a break from being in the dating world, but decided it was time to put my profile back up. I'm not a serial dater and would like to get to know one person at a time.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to post my picture on my profile because I don't believe that you can always "judge a book by its cover". I've been told that I am "cute", but hope that someone can see past that and find my good-natured personality, big heart to be a more attractive feature. There's more to me than what you see. I consider myself to be a down-to -earth person, not materialistic at all. I'm a bit introverted and shy; reserved at first. I think I have a great sense of humor. I'm honest, faithful, and not into playing games.
I work full-time, am the sole provider, live as debt-free as possible, and I don't spend a lot of money on myself.
I definitely could use more adventure in my life, but it's hard when I have other obligations that go with being a full-time single mom.
I don't have a scout troop to run anymore now that the kid will be in high school. I now keep myself busy by organizing adult only and/or family events for some single parent groups. I am the one who organizes the monthly "Ladies Night Out" evenings with my friends.
I am not the type of person to be impressed by a job title, type of degree that you have, kind of car you drive, amount of $$$ you make, etc. Those things do not define a person, at least in my opinion. I have looked at some of the profiles that women have posted to get some ideas of what I wanted to write on here, I noticed that some "require" their dates to have higher education degrees. I think that people can be highly successful in their careers without having a specific diploma. I believe that a degree is not as important as having the right aptitude, attitude, determination, and vision on everything that you do in life.
A man with a BIG heart, honesty integrity is what I am looking for. Impress me more with the things you DO for others, not by the material possessions you may have. A sense of humor is a big plus.
I'm a jeans/t-shirt type of gal, but have dresses. The little things in life make me smile. A creative date will win me over, not an expensive one.
I LOVE being a mom. Don't know what my life would be like without my 14 year old. It's a little too late for me to have another child as I am happy with being a mom to a teen. I don't mind dating someone who has a child - I am looking for someone that will keep his kid(s) in the #1 place in his heart. I feel the same way about mine. I do like going on grown-up types of dates, but dates with the kids is VERY IMPORTANT to me too. UPFRONT: I HAVE MY KID FULL-TIME ...so it is a small challenge to arrange dates. If you don't mind working around this or would enjoy going on group dates with our kids......you might be "THE ONE" for me. (*High school is starting in the fall so I think my kid will be pretty busy with new friends, activities, etc. My "ME" time will open up a little more).
I'm straight forward about who I am and what I want. I would love to find someone who would eventually like to share a life together. First things first......dating and friendship. I would love to be in a long-term committed relationship. I hope to meet someone who is going in the same direction as me, at the same time.
