Meet a woman from Redondo Beach, United States. I'm originally from Brazil and came to Los Angeles right after I turned 18. While here I went through a lot and have arrived in a place I like to describe as happy and stable. I had to make for my own and I'm proud to have achieved stability in my life in doing what I truly love. I'm a nurse working with sick and premature babies, which I believe is the best job in the world. It keeps me grounded and straight-- I can never take anything for granted.
I'm outgoing. I like traveling, dancing and just having fun in simple things. I like to laugh at silly things and make people laugh. Since I don't have any family members around, I have created my own family of friends. I have a small group of friends that I tend to think are the best friends in the world...I may be naive or just lucky but certainly I keep feeling that way, since they not only have helped me through hard times but also keep bringing much joy in my life.
At 36, I believe I finally know what I would like in a partner. Someone who is balanced, mature, intelligent, respectful and ready for love. If he has knowledge of different things in life, it makes it even better. Deal breakers for me are men who have conservative political/social views and man who are overly superficial. I grew up playing soccer and I still enjoy it just as much.I also like to dance and if you get me in the right mood I might just sing for you.I also enjoy all types of music but if I have to narrow it down I guess I would say classic rock, alternative and pop music. As far as my goals I still have a bucket list of them. I would like to have my own private practice one day as I'm a child therapist.Some other goals and aspirations of mine include:writing,publishing a book,traveling more, learning to play the guitar, running a marathon,doing more volunteer work to help those who are sick and in need for starters..also have to add that I would like to find someone special that can be my bestfriend and share a life with full of amazing memories.

Me and the qualities I posses, Well,, .....definitely, initially, I'm shy, but once I get to know someone, I am very outgoing, (quite animated and funny, I've been told.)
Yet this initial shyness is why Im trying the internet route, in hopes of meeting someone I can develop a long term relationship with . Figured this would make the initial, approach, introduction and meet, a little easier.
I put a 110% into whatever it is I do, from ,being a devoted and responsible pet owner, friend or companion to providing care to my patients. I do not do anything halfhearted.
I'm sensitive and caring, smart, sexy, giving , loving, funny, goofy and silly (once I feel comfortable with you). I love to play dress up,. I was raised as a lady with class and style but I also know how to be casual and have fun. I do not consider myself high maintenance, although I'm not granola either..Although, I do like granola.. I love my cat and dog, they have been my loyal companions and I give them the same in return.. So that someone must love animals and accept them as part of this package. I prefer intimate gatherings and being one on one. i 'm not really into big group get togethers, but don't mind crowds.
I want to travel and find that person to be adventurous with. Not the skydiving or bungee jumping adventurous..., but rather, trying new things, foods (not monkey brains or anything that extreme.....Although I do like escargot ), restaurants, weekend getaways, exotic vacations. Of course we all have our favorite places but also be open to try something new. I like doers. People that take charge, not in a controlling way, but that can speak up and know what they want or at least what they don't want.
I want someone who is honest, kind, considerate, motivated, a little wild and not afraid to be a little crazy and have fun, who is hard working, but NOT a workaholic, funny, compassionate, sensitive, sweet, thoughtful, intelligent and even a little edgy.. No one up tight or too conservative.
