Date people from San Francisco, United States. Love SF and NY. Lived for many years in NYC and then moved to SF. Consider them the two best cities in the world. I was married before and, although it did not work out, I don't consider myself jaded and still believe in finding a great companion to enjoy life and be happy. Life is too short to waste it on negative emotions.
I love spending time outdoors, hiking, wine country trips, museums, and music (from jazz and heavy metal to classical and operatic, seriously). Cooking is a great passion.
Meet a woman from San Francisco, United States. I'm an east coast native who moved to SF in the late 90s. I've also lived in Germany and London and love traveling - having most recently visited Tanzania, the Ukraine and Vietnam.
I enjoy a wide variety of activities from spending time outdoors (especially hiking) to going out for dinner or drinks, or watching a film. I'm extremely dedicated and trustworthy once I get to know someone. I'm looking to meet someone who is equally happy going out drinking/dancing, watching a movie, or trying a new restaurant as staying in and cuddling on the couch, watching a film and sharing a bottle of red wine.
My ideal match is a guy who is comfortable with himself, optimistic and loves living life to the fullest. He has a fantastic sense of humor, but can be serious when necessary. He is as comfortable dressing casual and getting dirty as getting dressed up and going out to a nice restaurant.
What I'm looking for is that ever elusive connection. I'm definitely looking for that certain feeling - the one you can't really explain but you know it when it's there. Whether this shows up on a first date or a tenth, I'm a patient person and open to finding out!
Date a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. So, how do you give some indication of the type of person you are through words? I'll try...first off I'm Irish and have lived in San Francisco for the last 3 years. I work hard but in typical Irish fashion, enjoy my downtime too. I'm very social and like to spend my free time hanging out with family and friends. I've very fortunately built up a strong network of friends who I like to call my American family, here in San Francisco. I also have a very strong connection to my family back home, who I try to see as often as possible. They've all been out to see me regularly and have come to love SF as much as I do.
Because I have to travel a lot with work, I haven't had a lot of time to get out there and date since I've arrived in San Francisco. I tend to try catch up with everyone when I am here. Compatibility is very important to me and a sense of humour - I love to laugh. My ideal guy is one who shares the same family values as I do and who understands that sometimes I have to travel for my job, which can be bothersome! It's also not a bad thing though, as together we can see more of the world! I'm not really into going to movies - much prefer to wait till it's on TV and then enjoy it at home, on the couch, with a nice bottle of red and some good company. I like to try new restaurants regularly and enjoy going to games - I'm a soccer (Arsenal) fan and Irish Rugby supporter and have come to love the Giant's since moving to SF. Also, a day trip to Sonoma wine tasting is always welcomed. I love the outdoors and welcome a tough hike, which is always worthwhile to see those magnificant views. I've fortunately visited most continents of the world but have yet to experience Australia and New Zealand - they're on my to do list. I also have this crazy plan that I want to visit all States of the US. My American friends think I'm a bit nuts because apparently not all States are worth the visit!!! I'll be the judge of that I think ;-)
So, I'm willing to give match.com a try, after a lot of encouragement from my friends. Let's see how this goes...
Meet someone special from San Francisco, United States. My profile is still a work in progress, so forgive me, if this is so short.
So, drop me a line and we will go from there while i am pondering this :-)
I really would enjoy the company of somebody with a keen intellect, somebody down to earth, open-minded and aware........
