I am usually happiest outdoors, especially if my feet are submerged in a large body of water! I am more of a kayak girl than a speedboat girl, although I would really like to learn to water ski!!! Camping, baseball games, hiking, cycling, and swimming are some of the things I like to do outdoors! I am also not opposed to plopping down in a comfy chair and reading in the shade! I am not much of a TV watcher, but I do like to snuggle up and watch movies - most genres keep me entertained except fantasy/sci-fi. I love cooking AND eating which is why I spend a fair amount of time at the gym! I like my gym so much I have started teaching cycling classes there 3X a week!
I have a fairly non-traditional work schedule. I usually work 3-4 days a week and those days are usually VERY LONG! I would love to find a partner who had a schedule that was flexible enough to go for a mid-week hike, bike ride or game of golf! My teenager keeps me very busy but I have found that he is starting to become VERY busy with social activities and sports! His busy life is giving me more and more "free" time. I don't always know HOW MUCH free time I will end up with - teenage boys aren't the best at "planning" so, again, flexibility would be great!
I would like to meet someone to have ADVENTURES with!!! Hiking, concerts, plays, swimming, cycling, dancing, traveling, cooking, laughing, "hanging out"... It would also be great if my partner gently kissed the back of my neck when he walked by, jumped off rocks into cold water with me, reminded me to slow down when I am running around not taking a minute to "breathe", NEVER tried to have a serious conversation with me before I have had my morning coffee (Peet's french roast - black, please), belly laughs with me over silly things ( not AT ME when I cry over commercials or sappy stories), will spoon me AND my dogs, and if he TRIES to understand the complicated woman that I am. In turn I will give him all the kindness, compassion and love that I have inside. BONUS POINTS if he will put on a wetsuit and swim with me from Alcatraz to San Francisco!
