Meet single man from United States. I am a laid-back guy. It may come off as a bit shy, but it is simply that I am introverted. Good conversation can be very stimulating. I am really an open book to anyone who takes the time, I am just not one to talk about myself to anyone in earshot. I am one of those people that have to be peeled back one layer at a time. I l would like to think that I am one of the most genuine and loyal people that you can meet.
I am black (quite obvious by the picture), but I am not that player stereotype that seems to be attached to black guys. I am a hard-working guy, who has had the same job for over a decade. Drama and game playing has no place around me. I like to keep it simple and straight up.
Sports are a big part of my recreational life. I have played baseball my entire life. I can watch all sports live. Basketball is a struggle for me on television as it is definitely not my favorite sport, however I love high school basketball. I would say that I am educated fan of the games, so it is fun to find people that are passionate about their teams. I am a New York Mets fan first (Yes, they are horrible), Arsenal in soccer (They are mediocre too), and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in football (Can I pick a good team?). I can watch plenty of women's. sports as well.
My thing is working out like a demon. Six nights a week. I am inspired to keep playing baseball on my weekends, so I gotta keep myself together. I enjoy seeing the improvements, because it keeps inspiring me to do more. The elliptical machine is my new best friend.
I love music. It does run the range from the Rat Pack to Rage Against The Machine. I always have something playing in my car or in my office. The Black Keys (Can't wait to see them in concert again) is my favorite current band out there. Jimi Hendrix is my favorite all-time. I will admit that I am not much for country, but that may be due to a lack of exposure. I grew up listening to a lot, so finding new music is a joy to me. My music of choice is largely determined by my mood.
I also love going to movies. I like the independent theaters, like Laemmle, where I can see the movies that aren't shown everywhere. It is funny to watch the Academy Awards and realize that I have seen all of the films nominated. My favorite types of films tend to be action movies (I guess that's expected since I am a guy).
I hope to meet some new and interesting people; for dates or even to make a new friend. I like people that are comfortable in their own skin; and who are truly open to new things. A woman who knows herself, and what she believes is a treasure.

I think you can say you're this or that about yourself, but ultimately you'll find out for yourself when we meet. Plus I don't want to reveal everything, there has to be some mystery. That's what makes it fun when you're trying to get to know someone. I will say this though, I'm a very family oriented guy with good morals...thanks to my parents!
Ok, I'll reveal a little sumthin' sumthin'...LOL. On my spare time I like to travel whether it's locally or another country. There are so many beautiful places to see. Sometimes I just like getting in the car and driving just to see the great scenery. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but I wouldn't mind driving out to Napa to have a glass of wine with that special someone. Some of the things that I enjoy are: traveling, concerts, sporting events, movies, broadway plays, dancing, finding new eateries, theme parks, hanging out with family and friends, coaching my nephews baseball team, etc... I also like to draw on my spare time. I'm always up for trying new things too. You only live once!
Overall, I'm just looking for a good woman. Someone who can appreciate a good man. Obviously there has to be some attraction, but there's more to woman than just that. I like being honest, having good communication, being affectionate and all that. I hope for the same in return. I'm not much for drama either.
