I'm just an old fashioned, patriotic, country boy brought up by a single, short, cowgirl mother from Texas. She taught me old fashioned manners and respect towards women and my elders. Not having a father figure, I embraced my boy scout training and accepted movie portrayals by men like John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Audie Murphy as showing how an honorable man was suppose to act. On the outside, I might come across as strong,stoical and independent while inside, I'm a big, soft teddy bear. I can be strong and indifferent when necessary and still cry like a baby watching a sad or patriotic movie.
I have a strong faith and try to keep it to myself. I try to deal with people honestly and honorably. I love my family and am very close to both my sons.Never felt the need for drugs or smoking, light social drinker. I have an inquisitive mind, always learning, above average intelligence.
Always liked the idea of dancing but never really learned how, two left feet and no rhythm. Always wanted to be able to dance ballroom or Latin dances close with my partner.
I love my animals, never been without a dog, they give so much absolute love and trust.
