I tend to mark my life by what I have seen and felt - when Alan Shepard went into space, when JFK, RFK, and MLK died, when the wall went up in Berlin and when it came down. I am now at a stage of life where I want to start off the day with a smile - for what the previous night held or for what the next evening portends. I want to be able to share time with someone who is interested in the world, who reads and enjoys talking about ideas, politics, what they have read and what they have seen.
