Currently I work (very) part time, as an asset manager for 3 affluent clients, and have plenty of discretionary time for recreation, volunteer work, attending cultural activities in the evening, and to socialize with friends.
Mountain biking, sea kayaking on SF Bay, hiking, and reading, have been my passions for many years, and I am lucky to have the time, skill, resources, and energy, to engage in all of them on a regular basis.
Another satisfying part of my life is my volunteer work, as a tutor with a high school student with Bridge the Gap and the Boy Scouts.
For the Scouts I volunteer to help build and maintain hiking and biking trails on their property above Fairfax, and I coordinate an extensive mountain bike program.
I enjoy live theater and volunteer as an usher at the Berkeley rep.
In addition, I volunteer, on a regular basis, to lead group kayak paddles, on SF bay, for a local kayak club. (BASK- Bay Area Sea Kayakers).
Please, don't be intimidated by all my sports participation. You don't have to be a jockette. I am not looking for someone to mountain bike with, (and I don't want to do yoga with you). As you can see from my photos, I have lots of friends that I bike and kayak with. But I am looking for company to go to comedy, live music, Thursday night San Rafael Street Fair, Berkeley Rep, dinners at home, hikes, swimming in lakes, short car trips, evening events and much more.
I am a light TV viewer, and I am not a sports spectator. My family of origin, was non dysfunctional, and I have positive relationships with my family, and friends. I am well adjusted, emotionally stable, and mature.

I would like to meet a healthy woman who shares my left wing politics. I support "Occupy Wall Street Movement" (and hope you do as well) and believe that our current economic crisis (aka "Debit Crisis") is due to: 2 very expensive and misguided wars, deregulation of Wall Street, and low taxes on the rich.
I seem to do best with calm women, as I have enough anxiety for both of us.
