Date someone special from California, United States. I moved to San Diego 4 years ago. I live in an apartment in North PB, and work at home developing software for a financial company back east. I have one daughter who just graduated from college. I am humorous, upbeat and nice. I take a lot of pleasure in the simple joys of life like food, conversaton, travel, museums, movies, art galleries, etc.,. For exercise I like to work out, ski, and hike. I would like to try sailing and horseback riding, neither of which I have done for a long time.
I really love Sothern California, especially the landscape. I feel fortunate to have the coast, footlhills, mountains and desert all in such easy reach for hiking in. I dreamed about moving to California for years, and it was really great when all the stars aligned to make that possible 4 years ago.
I am looking for someone who is smart and fun to be with. Someone who is not too materialistic, has positive feelings towards men in general, and is capable of giving and recieving love in a whole-hearted, consistent way. Someone who, like me, is ready for love and happiness and willing to compromise and work hard to keep it.
I am not fixated on any particular physical characteristics. I'm not looking for perfection. For me, sexiness has a lot to do with attitude. But it is important to me to find someone who is alive mentally. I'm not necessarily talking about formal education. Just a general mindset of being interested in things, even things that don't have an immediate practical value.
