I like to ride bike, takes walks everyday along the ocean (lucky me..it is right down the street) getting back into running after some foot surgery and a little golf every now and again. I love going to the theater and spending time in the city. Art, museums, checking out and learning new stuff is always a good time for me.
I do like quiet time as well. There is no better place on earth than a seat in the sand with the ocean before me and good company next to me.
Travel quite a bit for work and enjoy the challenge and diversity that experiencing new people and environments create. I love meeting new people and learning from their experiences. I have had the pleasure of visiting some wonderful places in my leisure as well. Italy is still a place that calls me back. Ahhh..la dolce vita.
I try to live each day to its fullest and hope I get another chance at it tommorow. Try my best to stay active and fit and do whatever I can to make this wonderful life I have go on for a very long time.
I am a mother of three grown sons and three fabulous grandchildren. Adore having them in my life and make time to be together often. My life is my own for the very first time in my adult life and I am enjoyng it!! The best part is in front of me and the possibilities are endless! Yes!!

"About Me" (this is arduous)
I start out pretty quiet. I tend to take a few minutes to get my bearings, and figure stuff out. I don't let just anyone in my corner...you gotta be one of the good guys. I play around with photography. Yosemite is my heartplace. I advocate against Human Trafficking. I root for the Giants and the Niners. I'm thinking the Warrior farm team moving to Santa Cruz could be a pretty fun deal. I'm a bit of a geek, frequently an early adopter. I like to know before the hype. I appreciate social media, even if I am very wary about privacy issues.
My friends will tell you that I am loyal, perceptive, headstrong, faithful, a decent cook, fun and funny to be around.
My family will tell you that I am devoted, intuitive, stubborn, religious, not as good of a cook as my Mom, and not as funny as I think I am.
My favorite and most important gig is being Mommy. I have three kids, one by birth and two who are gifts. A son who is 21, and daughters who are 24 and 30. They are successfully launched, educated, employed, and nearby (for now.) I have an interestingly complicated, multi-generational, combination of stepfamilies, whom I hold dear.
"Who am I looking for?" (this is so much easier)
Someone who is done playing around....and looking to play for keeps. A man who has a mature relationship with the Lord, and participates at his church. He'd have intelligence, intimacy, integrity, and intensity...be passionate, affectionate, and steadfast. Part gentleman. Part renegade. He would laugh at most of my jokes...or at least indulge me with a smile when he rolls his eyes.
He knows what's going on around the world and why. He appreciates technology. He's strong enough to admire my strength, but is never embarrassed to put his arm around me if I get teary at something silly or sentimental. When I see him walk towards me...my breath catches...and my heart does that little skip a beat thing. He'll happily attend the occasional concert, game, museum, play, musical, maybe even a ballet? He is still hungry...mentally and physically. He will have the time in his day to pray with me. Someone who, not only wants to share his life with me, but also wants me to share my life, with him.

I have to update this as what I said above has even become more important in my life. I lost my 24 year old daughter in a head on collision this last year and yes my life changed. When I wrote above that life was short I truly didn't realize just how short.
