Date someone special from Foster City, United States. I'm pretty much a homebody, but when the feeling arise, and it does :) a lot, ... I have the urge to be spontaneous and have to travel (keep ur passport updated) somewhere, or visit new places or have a dinner party. I'm at both extreme... Love dressing for a black tie affair, then turn into my sweats and ready to go camping. Just looking for fun friendship for now. I don't look at if age defines a person, every friend I have is 9-25 year younger, and they are all very special to me in their unique way. Friendship is key factor - ...someone that can make me laugh, but then not speaking for a long period of time to enjoy the view of the mountains, stars or seas, knowing there is no need for conversation...just to enjoy quiet times too. Love market fresh foods, like to smell the food, strawberries, tomatoes, basil... Going places out of area just to get fresh organic produce....Reason for a "Field Trip"!
It's not the destination...it's the journey getting there....and the more "mishaps" = makes it more exciting...and a lot more memorable..."It's all good"!
Meet a soulmate from Foster City, United States. I'm looking for someone secure in who he is and where he is at this stage of his life. As long as he can provide for himself to his level of satisfaction, I'm happy. I'd love to meet someone who's open to trying new things and open to sharing himself. Honesty is the most important characteristic in a person and I donРІР‚в„ўt want to be around someone I canРІР‚в„ўt completely trust.
I love to tease and joke and laugh. I’ll tease you about those disappearing brownies and about that atrocious haircut you just got but then I’m just as likely to be teasing if I was the one who ate the last few brownies (I probably won’t be laughing if the awful haircut was mine – but I’ll appreciate you mourning it with me). I love the comfort level that comes with getting to know each other well – I’m not real comfortable on first / second dates – I want to skip all those and get to where the friendship / relationship part starts up because then the “work” ends and the “fun” begins.
I think the things I’ve gone through with my divorce has made me a better person – I’m more understanding of the differences in people and can see how these differences make you “you” and not how they make you wrong. Maybe that extra 15 pounds you have that others have criticized just means you love my cooking? Maybe your way of raising your children works for you and them and my way works better for my family? We are all different, react different to situations, and our differences should be cherished not criticized.
If some of what I've written here has struck a chord with you, drop me an email. btw -- most photos are from 2010-12 (the fireplace picture of my family and my profile picture are from our 2011 xmas photo shoot, family shot is my sisters, mom and I on my 50th birthday), the picture of my buddies and I in Napa is from earlier this year.
Date a woman from Foster City, United States. So here we are and it seems we already have something in common --- we are looking for that special someone and that indescribable feelings that come with that. I am a romantic with practical side, the sort who loves long walks on the beach but can also find the romance in someone washing my car for me.
I definitely appreciate the little things in life and cherish family and friends. I entertain often and can always be counted on to have smile of my face. I am reliable and drama free. Life is too short to focus on petty things. Life is also too short to sit on the sidelines so I have recently return to exploring outdoor activities a passion that has laid dormant for years. I am also like a puppy when it comes time to try new experiences. I right there waiting at the front door ready to go. I thoroughly love the process of discovery.
You, well you tend to walk to the beat of your drummer and ready to seize the moment. You still have a great sense of playfulness in you, you might have a hobby that drives women a little crazy like riding motorcycles or sky diving. I like a man who
still feels that life is an adventure and is intensely curious about learning anything new. What also appeals to me is someone who likes travel, fine dining, music, exercise, outdoor activities, wine, entertaining family and friends but all
these things are not set in stone with me. However you need to see the humor in life, I know from experience that laughter can make the good times better and the bad times bearable.
So if you are still reading, I'd love to hear how you are going to make me laugh.
