Date a girl from California, United States. Hey, I'm young and having fun, and I absolutely love life. I work in New York and I'm currently performing in Les Miserables. I live for music, and long spontaneous adventures. I was born in California, lived in England, but I'm a New Yorker at heart. I'm not really that desperate for a relationship, but what the hell, I'll put myself out there, even if you just wanna be my friend, I'm open.
Meet single girl from United States. I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I moved to the Bay Area in January 2012. I love it here - it's beautiful, the people are great and there are an infinite number of things to do!
I am educated, attractive, intelligent, spiritual and affectionate. I like to be outdoors and active. I surround myself with people and things that make me happy, most importantly my family and friends.
I am looking for friendship and maybe more. I believe an ideal match would be a nice combination of similarities, fun things we can do together and agree on, but nonetheless challenge each other with differences that elicit places to learn and grow in ourselves as well as a couple.
Date a girl from United States. Don't be taken back by the seriousness that lies on the surface. Get to know me, and you'll see a loving, playful, and occasionally silly "little" girl.
Born in Asia, I moved to the U.S. as a teenager. Having lived in the Bay Area for 6 years, the cultural diversity, laid-back atmosphere, and good food really grew on me. During my brief trip to several western and eastern European countries, the beautiful landscape and bright sunshine left a deep impression on me. My wildest dream is to retire in, maybe Tuscany : )
I am considerate by nature. I love to see the joy that a simple thoughtful act or carefully chosen gift can bring to others.
I am romantic at heart, although I'm not vocal about it. I like to put things in subtle language, in writing. If you find it hard to appreciate subtleties, please walk on by.
I don't make promises easily, but have every intention of keeping the ones that I made. If you are quick to make promises and are even quicker to forget, please walk on by.
I am pretty, but not stunningly beautiful. If you are looking for a supermodel, please walk on by.
I am independent, and will not cling to my other half 24-7. I expect him to give me space when needed, and I'll respect his in return. In the unfortunate event that a nasty bug is present however, I'd really appreciate if he steps in as the "terminator".
I have many interests, albeit an expert at none. I play the piano, and enjoy going to art museums as well as operas, ballets, and musicals (Will miss "Les Miserables" in San Francisco this summer, bummer!). I love reading novels, and frequently write in my native tone.
My Mr.Right is independent, mature, adventurous, with a good sense of humor. A keen intellect, he is a master of thought provoking conversations. He loves to travel and explore new possibilities of life... Could it be you?
PS: I believe a good relationship takes two people that complement each other, and I will become a better person because of you. But if I have to put on makeup, wear heels, or dress like a fairy all the time for your to be happy, then I'm not your gal.
Meet a soulmate from United States. IРІР‚в„ўm a grad student in molecular biology, studying plants and how they develop. I grew up all over the country (I was a software industry brat), and love being in new places and experiencing different ways of life. IРІР‚в„ўve lived overseas for extended period of time, primarily in England and Ecuador, and have made some of my best friends during these trips. In addition to my biology day job, I enjoy volunteering with kids, baking stuff for other people, biking in the hills, and walking around San Francisco. I also love to write, primarily poetry but sometimes short stories.
IРІР‚в„ўm very lucky to have a family I really enjoy being around (i.e., my mom and dad, as IРІР‚в„ўm an only child), as well as a few friends who are so close they are more like family. These friendships very precious to me and I make a real effort to keep them up, though in many cases, theyРІР‚в„ўre across miles and continents.
I'm looking for someone who is good-hearted, smart, and fascinating to talk to, with whom I can share my full and honest self.
Date someone special from Palo Alto, United States. Hi! I am living in Palo Alto for the summer working on a start-up one of my friends created. As a teacher I'm helping them as their app will be for children. I'm hoping to meet some fun and interesting people to enjoy the summer with.
Meet someone special from Palo Alto, United States. I'm gregarious, outgoing, warm, and I love to laugh. I like hanging out with friends and family but cherish the time that I spend at home. I'm a bit klutzy and goofy. I just got my masters degree in special education and teach at a local high school. It is nice to find my dream job. If only California would stop laying off teachers the world would be even better.
I am hoping to learn many of my mothers amazing recipes. I find library's and the gym oddly therapeutic especially when listening to car talk on podcast. I would love to learn Hindi and go to India but with school its tough. I would love to travel around the world but I also love spending time at home...California is awesome. Lucky to have traveled to Israel, it is a beautiful country.
My family is my rock and my constant source of humor and general ridiculousness. Family Friday night dinners are wonderful not just because my mom is a great cook but because we literally spend hours laughing, and having totally random discussions.
I am an honest person, in fact telling a lie gives me heart burn. I should work on that for teaching, lol. I have maintained my love of second grade humor, which is why I like shows such as Family Guy. I truly enjoy the little things in life. I feel very lucky to have the life I have which is largely due to my friends and family. I enjoy going to Torah study, and learning about my heritage.
I love and am slightly addicted to Bollywood films and dance. I also like learning about other cultures, watching a film (anything from action to comedy or documentary), listening to music (bollywood, country, gogoll bordello, korn, muse, classical, linkin park, etc), read (anything from sci-fi, to a autobiography or a trashy magazine), walk around the farmers market, summer bike rides, draw (basically doodle), and spend time goofing off with friends.
I love Eureka, Raising Hope, The Big Bang Theory, basically all of hulu.com. I adore listening to NPR's "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me," and "Car Talk."
I want a drama lite life that is focused around the people I care about and trying to be a good person... and have some fun!

Meet a girl from California, United States. Let’s see… a snapshot of me: I'm heading into my second year of a doctoral program and I’m loving it. While I’ve been living on the West Coast for a few years (I moved here from Seattle), I grew up in Maine and lived in Boston for my first grad program. I try to visit as much as possible. My favorite things to do include listening to music (ideally live), watching an episode from my oddly extensive DVD collection of cancelled TV shows, drinking cheap beer, letting my secret nerd show through getting lost at the library or in a museum, going to games (love the Celtics), and hanging out in the sunshine. While I can’t say I’m particularly good at bowling, paddleboarding, or darts- I have a blast doing them all. Random fact: all my deceased Beta Fish were named after my favorite Wire characters (they all happened to die on the show as well). I’m generally super easy going and love to laugh (often at myself). I love to travel, though most of my dream destinations have been shelved until I’m no longer a student. I also enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants. That being said, I’m as happy eating freeze pops as I am eating expensive sushi, leading some of my foodie friends to claim I have "no taste." These days I’m loving trying out all the food trucks in SF. I almost always love being around people, but have been known to barricade myself in my apartment with a good book or comedy central.
IРІР‚в„ўm new to online dating and hoping to find someone who is generally up for anything- going out to dinner and drinks, staying in channel surfing or cooking, checking out a new dive bar, or playing pool with a girl who tends to get the 8 ball in first. My ideal guy is someone who can make me laugh until I snort and can laugh at himself. I want the person I meet to teach me something and I hope to be able to teach him something. I hope to find a guy who cares deeply about things, but doesn't take himself (or the world) too seriously- someone who can get sucked in reading a book or the news or watching/quoting episodes of Seinfeld. Balancing being active with chilling out/relaxing time is a must.
I hate to admit that while extremely friendly and outgoing in person, I tend to be shy online and donРІР‚в„ўt generally make the first move. Message me if youРІР‚в„ўre interested in getting to know one another!
Date a soulmate from United States. There is a purpose for all of us. I'm fairly positive I haven't found mine yet, but I think I'm getting close... Operation Boost Endorphins is in full swing: my first 10K is this September, and so far I'm enjoying my training regimen. Starting in October, my 200-hr yoga teacher training certification program starts... so eager to begin studying!
I believe in fierce loyalty and the power of music to uplift and heal. Social niceties are important (baking cookies, singing happy birthday, sending thank you cards). I have green eyes, blonde hair, and I miss my freckles in the winter.
Family is hugely important to me... hiking, wine-tasting, baseball, and a host of other family outings and adventures. I adore my brother, who has had to put up with his older sister for 28 years and counting. He's much cooler than I am.
I like music (who doesn't?) and have songs constantly stuck in my head, although it may be Muse one minute and Handel's "Te Deum" the next... ironically, I can't make a music playlist to save my life. I'm a grammar-perfectionist, I have strong opinions about serial commas, and I dislike double-spaces after periods... yet, I continue to excessively overuse parenthetical expressions. I'm ambi-coastal; I love the SF Bay, but spent many years in New England, and recently completed grad school in Iowa. I adore skiing, wine-tasting, hiking, talking in fake accents, and meeting new people. Bucket list includes: sailing in the Greek Isles, exploring Norwegian Fjords, and taking a jeep tour through the Australian Outback.
I'm looking for a partner in crime who can be equally at home alone or in a crowd; climbing a mountain, wine-tasting, or a night at the opera. I like strong personalities who are good in social settings, but also someone who makes me feel like I'm the most important person in the room and isn't afraid to show it. Wanderlust/urge to explore and a passion for life are must-haves, as is an adventurous, curious, open, intellectual spirit. Witty banter and sarcastic humor are pluses.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I am grateful for waking up todfay and all the wonder people and things around me. I hope to meet somone that I can laugh and hang out with. .
Date someone special from California, United States. Well, I'm pretty sure a paragraph isn't enough to really describe anyone, so I'll just give some highlights that I consider pretty indicative of me.
I'm a scientist. I have a PhD in biology, and I am doing post-doctoral research in a cancer biology lab at Stanford. Now, I know the whole "scientist" thing can conjure up some negative connotations, but I'd like to assure you that I'm actually a decently well-rounded person. In my (all too limited) free time, I usually try to find myself outdoors. I'm an enthusiast of both hiking and skiing above most all else and only wish I could do both more often. Second only to the outdoors is my love for music. I play a bit (not spectacularly), listen more or less constantly throughout my day, and am a huge fan of seeing live shows (though I try to avoid bands where it just seems like the singer is yelling at me).
I'll choose a low key bar with good beer over a dance club in a hot second. I bake really elaborate cakes for friends and coworkers on their birthdays. I like movies, but almost universally dislike romantic comedies. And, my most frequently complimented feature is my laugh, which is in a word, boisterous.
Now, I don't consider myself a "glass half empty" kind of girl, but I think its easiest for me to list some deal-breakers instead of "what I'm looking for." So, here goes. Please don't bother with me if you:
1) Are a republican. No joke.
2) Have seen or read any of the Twilight series, or chose a side in the whole Team Edward v Team Jacob battle. No excuses.
3) Don't like dogs. I don't own a dog at this point, but I think not liking them is a character flaw.
4) Want to settle down, get married, live in a house with a white picket fence, 2.5 kids and a minivan. Sorry, but I'm quite a lot more unconventional than that.
5) Don't like to be outdoors as much as possible.
6) Wear skinny jeans. One of the worst trends in men's fashion ever. Maybe even worse than Hammer pants. Sorry hipsters.
7) Are intimidated by smart women.
8) Don't read books. Real books. Like, novels.
Is that picky enough? Probably. That said, I'm pretty adventurous.
