Meet someone special from California, United States. Every week you will find me on the dance floor swinging, jumping and jazzing it up to the classics of Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and contemporary live Jazz bands. I discovered the wonderful community of Lindy hop in New York City, where I recently moved from a year ago to work in the Silicon Valley as a consultant. I love to live to in the moment even if at times I may have small accidents while attempting an aerial or going sea kayaking.
I like to be spontanous both on the dance floor and in my life. I am not just a dancer but also an outdoor freespirit. Although I'm very active, I'm also very serene and observant. I actually love being a listener because I care about being thoughtful in both my friendships and relationships with people.
I also like to have my peaceful moments. I enjoy walking around downtown Palo Alto and catching up on the wallstreet journal. Other times when I get out of work early, I like to come home and catch up on an episode of the "Big Bang Theory" show. I love to see live performances! When it's ballet season I go to the San Francisco ballet and the New York City ballet.

Date a girl from California, United States. I work hard, laugh often and family is my greatest joy. I often find there aren't enough hours in my day for all the running, attempts at surfing, and bike rides that I'd like to fit in. And if I'm visiting with family time goes out the window completely.
My work can be intense and the schedule is guaranteed to be random, but I make a conscious effort to even it all out. I take full advantage of my days off whether it's catching up on sleep, starting a new art project, exploring a new part of town with a good friend or purusing an old book store. As stressful as life can get with work, I think it's equally important to be lighthearted and find the humor in things.
I give a lot of myself to the people around me, from passersby to lifelong friends. I like to surround myself with positive people and will give my best to keep good company. Thankfully my family all lives fairly close and I get to see them on a pretty regular basis. It's always a comic relief whenever we get together. Whether it's observing the absurd forms of communication or bearing witness to our parents' changing opinions as the years go by.
I like to stay active as much as possible and get outside at least once a day. (I know, I too was shocked by this challenge when I started night shifts) Going to the beach on the weekends is my favorite activity, but it's closely followed by biking, running, long walks with a good friend, tennis, and rock climbing.
I'm most attracted to someone who is also hardworking, positive, and family oriented. Someone who enjoys getting outside, exploring new places, and doesn't mind a little spontaneity every now and then.
