Meet someone special from United States. I was born and raised in Georgia and have lived out here in CA for 4 years. I absolutely love the bay area and all the fun and exciting things surrounding it. I love adventure and finding new challenges, my next of which is the Iron Girl Tri in Tahoe this fall. I work hard and play hard. I love going to concerts and being introduced to new music and bands. I love Karaoke even though I can't carry a tune and I can dance all night to some 80's music. I decided to give this thing another shot. Regardless of how it ends up, I'm sure we can have some fun.
Date a soulmate from United States. It is often the little joys in life that make me happy. A flower, good food and drink, a scenic drive...
I just moved from the east coast and I am looking to meet new people and explore the area. Recently I got into brewing beer and I am looking for other people to brew with.
Plants are sort of my passion. I enjoy going for a walk and checking out the local flora. I am looking for someone that can appreciate my nerdiness.
Meet a woman from Palo Alto, United States. I am an active and outgoing girl who relocated to the Bay Area from the east coast about 2 years ago. I love all that Cali has to offer, but most especially the great weather that allows me to get outside all year round. I enjoy almost any adventure and like trying new things. I love food - making food, and especially eating it. I am particularly fond of foods that you can eat with your hands and get you messy like ribs, lobster/crab, and corn on the cob - and different ethnic foods. I am close with my brothers, sister, mom/dad, and get back to the east coast to see them several times a year.
I am looking for someone who is similarly outgoing and adventurous and can be goofy, but also knows how to buckle down when needed. I am drawn to happy people - people that are happy with themselves and their lives -- and view a relationship as a way to enhance that happiness, not create it. I am a high energy person...so not the right person for someone who prefers to couch surf than to get out and explore!
While I appreciate similar interests, I also appreciate that people have individual interests, friends, etc. and that not everything has to be a 100% match. I believe that honesty, kindness, and a good sense of humor are the least common denominator and that everything else is negotiable. If you agree, we might have at least one thing in common :)
I have a great job, and finally have struck a good balance of work and play. Looking for someone who has also already figured this out (i.e. who doesn't work consistent 80 hr work weeks and/or travel 4 days a week)
Think we could be a match? Send me a note and we can find out!
Date someone special from Palo Alto, United States. I am a sunshine girl. I like travel, art, fashion design, language, reading, and cooking. I read a lot, the book recently I read about called The Divine Matrix. I am a person full of passion and creativity. "Work hard, Play har" will be my life goal.
Love to explore new things in every territory. Think quick and work efficiency. After work, I like to be myself. Listen to music.... all kind of it. I like dancing, learning Hula dancing now. In short, I am a brave, beautiful, having sense of humor, smart, and plus own a successful career.
I came here to look for true love. A man who could grow with me, a man who could lead me. So, if you don't believe in love, you look for one night stand, you don't believe marriage, you look for casual relationship. Sorry, I am not that kind of girl you want. Please don't send me wink, email and don't even feel interested in me. Apart from that, if you happen to be my soulmate/true love, you will enjoy my company with laugh and fulfillment.
Meet a soulmate from Palo Alto, United States. I am Midwestern girl that moved to the Bay area 2 years ago. I was looking for a change of pace and scenery and now I suppose I am looking for a good guy to share fun times.
In my spare time, I enjoy going out, being social, and exploring about in my new surroundings. Leaving the big city skyscrapers to be surrounded by mountains is one of my best moves so far. In my free time, I enjoy love driving on the coast, checking out Santa Cruz or SF, trekking up to Tahoe, and checking out the wineries.
A love of mine is staying active and I enjoy yoga every day of the week. It keeps me spiritually, physically, and mentally balanced. I also enjoy running, hiking, and Zumba. Of course, I consider shoe shopping a sport, so that keeps me active, too. ;)
I try to amuse myself with indie films and painting so that I ensure myself of using both parts of my brain.
Ideally, I am looking for a guy that has a good sense of humor and is easy to talk to anytime. A man that is easy to talk to, not pretentious, and knows what he wants is very sexy to me. I would be lying if I said chemistry wasn't important, but it is. However, starting as friends works for me, too.
Other great qualities to me are: someone that has good friend and family values (loyal), is open-minded, and enjoys the arts.
Ideal dates would be checking out the latest exhibit at a local gallery or museum, or taking in a Giants game and walking to a nearby pub after, or even a night of dancing. (Do you move better than Jagger?)
Could this be you? I'd love to hear more about you, so drop me a line. :)
Date a woman from California, United States. Life is more fun when you have someone to share it with. I have a wonderful group of friends and family but am still looking for my special someone. Outside of work I can generally be found unwinding with a trip to the gym, cooking or grabbing dinner with friends. Since I am often cooped up inside all day, I enjoy finding some outside time on my weekends or evenings for relaxing by the pool, listening to live music, wine tasting, playing softball or heading to a barbeque, happy hour, or new restaurant.
Recently I have been having fun getting involved in team sports, and enjoy the friendships and silly adventures that they have brought into my life. I would like to find more time to read and travel. We did a lot of road-tripping growing up; national parks, Disneyland, and out of town relatives made for great summer trips. I was a bit older when I discovered the benefits of flying and travel requiring a passport. Nowadays I like to schedule my getaways to Hawaii, Tahoe, New York, San Diego or the various cities and states in which my friends have scattered to.
My ideal guy has his act together, and takes time to have fun while he is at it. He should be handsome, intelligent, driven, responsible, confident, silly, compassionate, kind and enjoy living in the moment. IРІР‚в„ўll know itРІР‚в„ўs a good match if we bring out the best in each other and find ourselves equally comfortable whether we are hanging with your friends, my friends, or just the two of us. Please drop me a note if you think we might be looking for the same sort of fun and companionship.
Meet someone special from California, United States. I am a 34 year old full-time mother of two amazing (energetic, happy, athletic) little boys (3 and 5) Being a mother is my number one priority, and I have to say I am pretty damn good at it. (Note: you don't have to "like" kids, but you certainly have to like mine!)
I've been separated for 7 months, in the middle of a divorce, and am doing my best to navigate through this awful process. To be honest, I am not sure what I am looking for at this point--it's been over 10 years since I've 'dated' anyone. I'm probably most looking for a friend, someone to hang out with; go to the movies or dancing with (I vowed the next man in my life, friend or otherwise, is going to take dancing lessons with me ) But, I'm a real believer in fate...and chemistry. Trying this out to see where it leads me...my life is an open road now! :-) Deal breakers: dishonesty/liars, people who are cocky, or game players and smokers (yuck! Does anyone still do that in California?!)
My friends would describe me as kind, funny, and someone who thinks about others, before myself. I genuinely try to make the best out of every situation (even the crappy ones) I'm terribly good at making fun of myself, and I make friends easily (I have friends I've known since I was 5 yrs old, and good friends I've met only a few months ago) They've dubbed me the "cruise director" because I'm always planning the next BBQ, pool party, girls night out, etc. So, who's up for some Bocce Ball on the Lido deck?!
Date someone special from Palo Alto, United States. About you: There are three sort of general things that I look for in a guy. The first is sensitivity/emotional intelligence. I really appreciate it when men have this, when they feel comfortable showing it. In general I like people who are in touch with their emotions, and can sense and understand how other people work on an emotional level. If you can see the beauty in various things in life and share it with others, with me, you are someone I could like a lot. The second thing is just plain old intelligence. IРІР‚в„ўm a total sucker for intelligent guys, engineers, scientists (for e.g. it doesnРІР‚в„ўt have to be one of those). Can you explain complex things, fix things, build things? I love that! That said I really struggle with intelligent people who are condescending or arrogant, who needs that really.. Finally, I love people with a great sense of humor, that smile and laugh a lot. Life is just more fun that way.
BTW, If you are really strong in two out of three, I can totally accept better than average in the third thing, ;).
About me: I would say that I can offer all three of the things above, so I think itРІР‚в„ўs fair to ask for them in return. In general I think people would describe me as a very sincere and genuine person. I like to be honest and kind with people. I love to joke around and laugh. Here are some other more random things you may be interested to know about me:
IРІР‚в„ўm not a big sports watcher (except for the Olympics and possibly soccer), but I really enjoy playing a lot of different sports and games. I have played at some point in my life: badminton (in hs), golf (I once got a birdie, :), volleyball, and softball (those just for fun). Currently I do pilates, aerobics, and yoga for exercise. I do like to be competitive. I would like to try to find something to beat you at, ;).
I love nature and animals and most activities that involve either of those. There are two categories of things that find me irresistible, 1) cats - they love me, I don't know why, and I am allergic, :( sucks!!!!!!!!!!). 2) Mosquitoes - I guarantee if I go anywhere with mosquitoes, the other person does not get bitten. I either have very sweet blood, or I exhale a lot (or both).
I LOVE to dance, all kinds.. IРІР‚в„ўll even line dance. It is definitely a bonus if you like to dance, or at least are not embarrassed by it, ;D.
I also like to do sedentary types of things: board games, cards – love them! I could play games for hours. I like to lie around and listen to music and watch my fish tank.
I love to read, particularly novels, but I also try to read non-fiction for self educational purposes. I love a good movie, but IРІР‚в„ўm picky about what I watch.
I love to cook and I like to learn different things. I prefer to eat in on most nights, though of course I love a good restaurant. People often think IРІР‚в„ўm a vegetarian because IРІР‚в„ўm picky about meat and I rarely order it in restaurants. But itРІР‚в„ўs not true, I just prefer meat home cooked. I can make really good meat balls and meat loaf. I also make really good pies.
I love my family, my daughter is a very special person to me – that probably goes without saying. I love being a mom, more than just about anything.
I love my work. I lucked out (in a way, I also worked hard!) and landed on a career path that I feel is perfect for me. I think the work is challenging and meaningful, and I hope to continue it as long as I can.
. I have a heart of gold. I love helping people and I love to dance and have fun! I love to travel and drink wine. My friends call me the life of the party. I love to go to the beach and I like working out. I have gone scuba diving and I want to learn to play tennis.
. My friends would describe me as someone loyal, honest, intelligent, compassionate, and reliable.
I am a southern girl at heart, warm and affectionate, grew up in the south and still hold true southern and asian traditional values. I dreamed about becoming a ballerina when I was young. After extensive schooling, I worked in health care and have been pursuing a career in finance in the last 9 years or so. Moved to San Francisco about a year ago, before that I lived in Chicago for over 10 years.
I generally get along with people who are cultured and educated, intelligent, honest, someone who can dress up for a banquet but also feel equally comfortable sitting at home in a Tshirt for the nite. When I am in a serious relationship, I enjoying doing everything with the other person, it's the company that matters.
I am very down-to-earth and can't stand people who are pretentious and materialistic. If you are self-absorbed, and derives pleasure from buying name brands and eager to display your wealth to others, we are probably not a good match. While first impression and physical attraction are important initially, a person's mind, core values and personality are things that I treasure in a guy, because quality is all that matters in the long run.
Based on my dating experience, the other character I can't stand much is being opinionated and judgemental without basis. Thru my professional expereience, I have met some truly accomplished individuals in life, however in person, they generally appear modest and laid back.
When I lived in Chicago, I was very active in the social circle, and enjoyed going to theatres for ballet, opera, as well as benefit events, live concert and comedy shows etc. In terms of sports activites, I like tennis, swimming and play a little golf. Chicago is also known for housing some of the best restaurants, I also like trying different types of cuisines, however, my favorite remains cajun and asian cuisines. I am generally up for anything, depending on the company. Since moving to SF, I turned more towards nature oriented activities such as hiking.
I still have a young heart, and am hoping to find someone equally youthful at heart, optimistic, positive, caring and kind.
. As my tag line says, I am really looking for a partner in life to enjoy some favorite activities like hiking, wine tasting, cooking. It would be great to share common interests, and be each othersРІР‚в„ў biggest fans. My ideal guy appreciates the family and friends in his life, has a job he feels good about, and knows how to balance work and personal time. Like most people, I love to laugh, so it would be great to meet someone whoРІР‚в„ўs got a sense of humor. Laughter can be pretty sexy.
So, a little about me...I work at a pharmaceutical distribution company in the city in their corporate IT area. I enjoy my job, but I like to keep a balance between work and play. I also really enjoy spending my free time hanging out with friends, working out (I have been working out with a trainer for a few months and love it!!), checking out new restaurants either locally or in the city, going to the movies, hiking, and anything else that sounds fun. If youРІР‚в„ўve been to Sam's Chowder House, my favorite spot to relax in the sun after a hike on the beach, you get extra bonus points.
I love to travel, and usually get the itch to travel abroad every couple of years. This year is a beach vacation with the girls to Hawaii, but I'm already daydreaming about an overseas trip next year. I'm originally from Texas (hookem' horns!). When I moved to California I decided to make the most of what the area has to offer. I now enjoy spending time cycling along Foothill In Palo Alto or heading up to wine country. I think my friends would say I am light-hearted and a ton of fun. I like my downtime in front of the TV (yes, I have a few reality TV guilty pleasures - youРІР‚в„ўll have to get to know me better for me to spill), but I balance it with getting out and about, especially on weekends.
So...if any of this peaked your interest, drop me a line.
