Date a woman from California, United States. After living in Honolulu for 17 years I returned to the Mainland and settled in The Bay Area in 2004. It was a great place to live, but eventually I tired of that pesky marine layer and it's neverending fog and moved to the Desert in May.
If you asked my friends, they would say that I'm attractive, creative, passionate, and cute; a fun and stimulating companion, and a supportive friend - one who considers listening as enjoyable as talking. So tell me your stories and I'd love to tell you mine. While I don't consider myself to be a particularly materialistic person (ie: needing the latest, biggest, best), I enjoy the occasional fine dining experience in a place like Pacifica, and traveling, near & far, staying in quaint hotels and B&B's. And, I love the abundance of Happy Hours in the Valley.
I like intelligent, romantic, lighthearted men. I am looking for a partner, a gentleman, someone who's playful and young at heart. Do you love to laugh? I do; one of my fondest memories was the one time that my grandmother, mother, and I went to a movie together. We saw "What's Up Doc" and there's a great sequence that had all 3-of us in stitches. It was a rare experience and such a joy to be sharing a moment of laughter with them.
Maintaining a healthy body, socializing, and volunteering for a few favorite organizations are important to me. One of my most fulfilling experiences in The Bay Area was volunteering at Sausalito's Marine Mammal Center, which is a hospital, research, and education center. I met wonderful, hardworking people who care about The Center's patients and who take seriously man's responsibility to care for our planet and it's creatures.
