I was born overseas (army brat) and never lived in one place for more than 3 years while growing up. Parents divorced early and we were raised by mom. Integrity in a relationship is very important to me; honesty and trust is the cornerstone of any relationship. I currently reside in the Seattle area, but after visiting the Palm Desert area regularly for many years, I recently purchased a condo here and plan on spending much more time in the desert. I can retire at any time, but just need a compelling reason to do so. Might you be that "reason"?
For me, life is all about balance and variety...keeping each day fun and exciting. Working hard, but making time for play. Trying out a new recipe together in the kitchen, and then perhaps spending the next night out at a fine restaurant. I enjoy all kinds of music, with jazz being a favorite, so get ready to see live concerts...especially outdoors! If you enjoy dancing…all the better!!! I played the sax for fourteen years, so I'm partial to bands with a great horn section. You know...Tower of Power, EWF. I'm not a camper or hunter, so no pictures of me holding a dead animal. My kind of camping is a sandy beach, palm trees and a wam breeze. I always have a trip planned so there is an adventure to look forward to. I have a long "to do" list, which includes norther Italy wine country and a couple of Greek Islands... Or a fun weekend get away. Sound good to you?

Where do I start...I am from South Carolina...grew up in Charleston... which may mean nothing to you...but to me it represents traditional values and respect for all people. I was brought up with two loving parents that created a sense of pride in who I am and where I am from. I made it on my own...college and career...the hard way. I love children...they are the future of this nation and we have to make sure they are educated and smart. I love animals...all animals. Great food is what I do...for a career actually. Worked in 14 countries with some of the best hotel owners and chefs in the world. It is my passion to say the least.
I am man enough to admit that my divorce hit me hard, and made me assess the way that I look at future relationships. I have been single for 4 years now...I have moved on. I enjoy taking short weekend trips to the coast. Going on a cruise
where you only have to unpack once and can relax with no agenda except
each other is my idea of a relaxing longer vacation. Everything is
prepared for us and we just have to show up if we choose to do so.
I like working out and do so with a trainer 4 days a week to stay fit
so that you will always find me attractive and feel secure when you
are with me.
Preparing and eating good food with a great wine while entertaining
close friends in my home is something I would like to do more
frequently. I'm a big fan of eating out as Orlando has a few good
restaurants. Del Friscos, Flemings, Luma, and Houstons (name has
changed) are a few of my favorites.
Very often, I am the entertainer making sure everyone laughs and has a
good time. It would be great to be with a lady who is into
entertaining as much as she is into being entertained.
It would be nice if you have your own successful career and therefore
are in charge of your time so that you are free to travel with minimal
commitments to others. I also understand that people with successful
careers have demands on their time, and that is where organization and
planning can minimize drama. Please be organized. Your availability
is very important to me.
I value friendship, loyalty, honesty and commitment. Doing what you
say you are going to do is paramount. I don't want to change or
