Okay here is just a little backround to throw out there.
I love challenges and will try anything at least once. I love the outdoors and like to go hiking, backpacking, camping,off roading or on the trails with my mountian bike.
I also am in the process of getting my certification for Scuba Diving.
If I am not out in the back country or the ocean then most likely you will find me tinkering on my 4x4 truck :)
At this point in my life, I am looking for some one to share lifes adventure's with. Someone I can talk to, debate with, and share events as they unfold. I find that open communication is the keystone to any relationship.

Ok, so I'm working on genetically altering the avacado so that the peel is actually onion and the pit is a tomato because I feel it should be easier to make guacamole. Ok, first, you should know I'm planning to move to the San Diego area soon. So, if you you're living in this area and want to pack your bags eventually and get the ^%$# out of this town, let's talk.
A bit about me and my outlook on life. I read a quote that says " Eventually, everyone will hurt you. The key lies in being with the one who's worth the pain". I think the key is in forgiveness. If you don't have the ability to forgive, you won't have the capability to really live...and that's MY quote. Is there anyone on this site who hasn't been hurt? Anyone think they'll never be hurt again? Think about that as you read through these profiles. I'm far from perfect, but I do my best. That'll be just a bit too real for most.
I am the proud father of two grown young men and having raised them alone (I sometimes think they raised me!!), with my youngest in college and my oldest on his own, I am an empty nester. They are what is best about me and my time on this earth and I am a better man for having them in my life.
I'm pretty easy going but am very passionate about some things, fairness being one. I believe in honesty and integrity and have high standards. I am willing to bet you do too. I will treat you like a lady and with respect. However, please be either all in or all out. The only way to see of something is going to work is to meet if you like the profile. If not, say so and move on. I do not do well with game playing. That said, at this point in my life, I'd rather go on a date that didn't work out than look back and wonder "What if?".
Some of the things I enjoy doing are playing drums, golf, going wine tasting, I like to cook breakfast rather than eat breakfast at a restaurant and would like to start hiking since I'm so close to some great hiking spots. I'm a good cook and may give you a run for your money in the kitchen.....if not, I could at least chase you around the kitchen ;)
I've been told my best attribute is my sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. I chalk it up to a common sense way of looking at life.......pointing out the obvious can be pretty funny and I suppose spontaneous wit is a gift.
I recently read a quote from Jackie Kennedy (Onassis) that says " There is some good and bad in every man". That is as true a statement about us men, certainly about me I have ever heard. Very profound, yet incredibly simple. I believe that the woman that can appreciate the good in me and accept the bad will win my heart and have a best friend for life. I'm honest and fun to be around.

Well its hard to write about yourself so here it goes i am single of course otherwise i wouldnt be here ha ha we as for me i am a old fashion man with a twist of today i love all types of music except RAP i dont like the someone trying to talk fast and think its music its not.
well as for me i am true to myself i have to treat others as i would want to be treated its the old way but after all these years it still works, my Dad always use to say pull the chair out for the ladies let her walk in first open the car door if it rains cover her with your coat.
Always pay for dinner lunch coffee and always be a good listner when she talks to you never give advise unless you are ask
well the morals still stand today for me then and they still do today!!!
I believe in a higher power someone if there is a God well he has bless us with beautful women to be with so we are bless to have women in our lives .
I am honest person i have to be i have a business so my repuction is out there so it carries over in my life i will always help my fellow man out.
We are here to help out those in need there so much of that today my heart goes out the ones who lose there homes there lives upside down.
