I am considered a very likeable, bright guy who is a very supportive father, son, brother, friend, and mentor. I am considered to be lot of fun (and funny) and try to keep things "light" as much as possible, although being a serious minded businessman. My friends and co-workers will tell you I am loyal, honest, considerate, accessible, and "stay in touch". I am really fortunate to have so many good friends throughout country and the world.
I am a "southerner" by birth, but worldly enough with travel and having lived in many parts of the US. As a fringe benefit, I can "translate" southern if you cannot speak or understand it. I know a little Mandarin/Chinese (generally enough to order a beer, ask someone if they speak English or find the restroom) as I spend a fair amount of time in China on business.
I enjoy a lot of different activities, but going to the gym (running and weights) is virtually a daily routine. Although not a total prerequisite, I would like to find someone who enjoys working out and who could be a good workout partner (early AM during the week, but being the nice guy I am, I would let you sleep in a little on Sat/Sun). I also like to play tennis and golf, although I don't get to play either as much as I would like.
I really admire women who are self-sufficient, confident, and that do not fully depend on their partner for personal happiness (although I would like to make a meaningful contribution to your happiness). I would be ecstatic to meet someone who is a "glass half full" optimist and that also has a natural sense of humor (if you make me laugh, I'll give you a dollar).
I do need someone that has good energy and likes to stay active (and who likes to "bust a move" on the dance floor on occasion). As much as I like being around people, sometimes there is nothing better than an uneventful evening watching a movie or having great conversation.....or simply being in the presence of someone you really care for. I also give a pretty good massage....if you have been good:)
