Life is amazing. Just lean-in and really look. While my sky-diving was adventurous, so is sitting on a plane at 40,000 feet marveling at the view, or playing with fish at 60 feet underwater while scuba-diving. That's why I love the "window-seat" on life. I can't take it for granted. Adventurous is also getting lost on a country road or being “found” in an old church in Tuscany.
If I had two words to choose to describe me, it would be generous and playful. Playful keeps the laughter coming and connects me with you and the world.
I'm a mix of traditional and progressive. Edgy and irreverent, but warm and kind. I like to listen to Linkin Park as well as Coldplay. I like an elegant Inn in Napa as well as a bungalow at Esalen in Big Sur. I like to read Rumi poetry as well as Vanity Fair. I'm open-hearted and full of energy to live life out loud!
A big source of happiness for me is my kids who I adore. I share every other weekend with them. We like to cook dinner, run through the sprinkler and play at the beach together. I am blessed with an amicable relationship with their Mom; she told me recently that she now sees me as the man she always knew I could be.
I'm generous. That can be listening to a friend in need or bringing flowers to you. Listening to you is important because communication is the key to a great relationship. I'm also willing to go through the tough conversations when we just can’t agree. I am committed to my own personal and spiritual growth and am looking for a partner who is as well. I hike, run or do yoga 3x/week. I love the water and enjoy kayaking and sailing. In winter I ski in Tahoe and Colorado. It would be great if you like some of the same, but we don’t need to share all the same interests.
