I have a pretty wacky sense of humor, it runs toward puns and random musings. A good indicator of my sense of sense of humor is in the kind of tv shows and movies I like: Psych, Doctor Who, and British comedies. I love my friends and family unconditionally, it's a kind of love that has taught me a lot of patience. I'm the kind of person who- when someone does something rude- says "hey, maybe they're having a bad day". I'm not a saint, sometimes I get mad first, then take a breath and think about it. I'm a Christian, you can see so on my profile, but I feel I'm still learning, even though I was raised going to church every day. I make it to church about once or twice a month these days. I'm not the kind of Christian who is going to force my viewpoint on you because I'm not the kind of person who is going to force my viewpoint on you. I like black-and white as a decorating scheme, not a lifestyle.
That's as much as I figure to tell you about who I am for now. What do I like to do? I like to read and watch tv and movies, I like to travel and sight-see, I like to go camping, and I like to cook and bake. The other stuff kinda speaks for itself, but the cooking and baking could be explained a bit more- what I really like is to play in the kitchen- baking chocolate-cherry cupcakes, and deciding at the last minute to dump white hot cocoa mix into the batter, or adding orange juice to barbecue sauce to make a sauce for meatballs, or figuring out what to do with that random bottle of plum sake I ended up with. I cook to see what I can cook. I keep thinking about trying a souffl?, but I haven't done it yet.
What kind of Guy am I looking for? I'm not going to list a bunch of stuff on here, like a grocery list, but there are a few things that I think are important enough. I'm looking for a guy who has that perfect mix of laid-back and driven. I just love when people know what they want, and aren't afraid to work hard for it. I love people who are authentically themselves, my favorite sentence to hear you say begins this way: "ok, I know it sounds kinda nerdy, but I'm so into..." whether it's the stock market, baseball, star wars, particle physics, or movie trivia, I think its so great when people are into something, even if I'm not so into it, because maybe you can convince me to take another look. What else? A guy who is interested in meeting in person, not just being pen-pals, how else can we figure out if there's that something there? Oh, and I'm going to take this idea for a test drive- just to see if you read my profile (or skipped to the end), use your favorite color as the subject heading when you message me. No, I didn't come up with it, I stole the idea from someone else, but it's a very interesting idea none the less.Someone who likes to try new things, see new places, who loves to get out and go camping just as much as a night on the town.
