Date someone special from El Dorado Hills, United States. Going with the "Need some inspiration" questions I have chosen to answer a few for your reading pleasure.
How would your closest friends describe you? My closest friends describe me as sarcastic, though I much prefer quick witted and intellectually amusing. My friends are a bunch of sensitive babies and neither you nor I can rely on a damn thing they say.
Seriously though, I describe myself as a believer in life's infinite possibilities, a lover of nature and outdoor activities and friend to the animal world (well, one minor exception: snakes--Indiana Jones reference to come).
What makes me smile and laugh out loud? My rejection from e-Harmony (okay, this never really happened--this is my first attempt at online dating). Like my friends, they too, are a bunch of sensitive babies and neither you nor I can put any faith in their decisions.
Okay, so things that make me really laugh are: Lewis Black, Jim Gaffigan, Garbiel Iglesias, life in general (don't take life too seriously).
What accomplishments are you most proud of? The accomplishments I am most proud of can be construed as somewhat illicit, thusly, putting them into written form was highly discouraged by my attorney. However, like my friends and e-Harmony, my attorney is a sensitive baby and neither of us can rely on any advice he renders.
In addition to the above:
1. As a single mother I managed to raise a child (now an adult) that to date is not incarcerated and holds a steady job;
2. Through hard work and prudent choices I own my home (well, the bank does and I'm paying them back) and, like my son, hold a steady job.
3. I have traveled to several exotic destinations (albeit covertly), and hold a steady job.
In case you haven't figured out that the type of person I am trying to attract is a confident, fun-loving, mildly-sarcastic man; well then, like my friends, e-Harmony, and my attorney, you, too, (well you get the gist--a little humor). But, if you are not afraid of adventures, laughs and an independent woman, read on
Meet a woman from El Dorado Hills, United States. A very considerate, and enjoyable person who just wants to find a considerate, enjoyable, and intelligent man to talk to on a routine basis. If you are this wonderful person please don't hesitate to contact me.
Date a soulmate from El Dorado Hills, United States. I've been told I'm low maintenance. What does that mean? I'm not the landscape in your front lawn! :) But I do take care of myself, maybe I'm even stubborn and proud of it. I have a wonderful job, home and some special friends...and two parrots and 3-legged pittbull who are sure they own my home. But have yet to chip in on the mortgage!
I'm a child of God, and grateful for the comfort that gives me to know that I don't have to know or do it all. I ask myself each day, "Am I doing the right thing?". That's all that matters.
My dream has been to move to some acreage with water. A lake, creek or river? So relaxing and peaceful. When I'm out and active I really enjoy hiking in the woods, snow skiing, riding my beach cruiser to the farmer's market each Sunday...and I just started kayaking and love it!
I'm looking for the boy next door that's all grown up :) The type of guy that was my buddy when I was a tomboy. Then he probably got a little nervous around me when we started into teenage years. Now...we know how to talk and play together, and have genuine love and respect. He's my "go to" guy. The one I think to call when I have something wonderful happen. He adores me....hey, I'm a girl and that's what we like! :) And I have a small case of the "awestruck" for him.
By the way, that low maintenance part I mentioned....it has gotten a little less desirable as i get older. I DON'T know how to fix the garbage disposal or lawn sprinkler...and those are some of the times now when I miss having someone around with those skills and intelligence. So maybe I'm not so independent after all :) And I'm ready to appreciate what someone else brings to a relationship and fully give what I have as well.
