Date someone special from Galt, United States. I like to think of myself as a reasonably intelligent woman, but I often find myself laughing hysterically at a silly thing I’ve said or done. I credit childhood viewings of �I Love Lucy’ for both the silly behavior and the ability to laugh it off. I’m certainly not perfect and I’m not looking for someone who is perfect…just perfect for me.
In recent years IРІР‚в„ўve heard many success stories about online dating. When my son met his wife through an online site, I thought to myself that if I ever found myself looking for love again that online would be the way for me. ItРІР‚в„ўs been over a year now since my husband passed away and IРІР‚в„ўd like nothing more than to find someone special to come home to and who puts a smile on my face at the end of the day.
About Me:
I’ve lived in and around the Lodi area most of my life. I have two adult children, a 32 yr. old son and 30 yr. old daughter, both of which are happily married with kids of their own. My kids add so much joy and happiness to my life and have shown me a new kind of love by giving me five terrific grandsons…so far (still holding out for a little girl). My family is very loving and supportive and also looks forward to the day they are able to welcome “my” someone special into their lives.
I have a good job that I like, which works out well because it will be a few more years before IРІР‚в„ўm able to retire. Working full time does put somewhat of a limit on the amount of travel IРІР‚в„ўm able to do. I took a trip to Scotland a few years ago and was able to visit my grandfatherРІР‚в„ўs modest childhood home where he lived with his many brothers and sisters before immigrating to the United States. It was a great trip but ended too soon with so much more to do and see. I would love to go back someday. Another memorable vacation was spent with my sonРІР‚в„ўs family in Mexico last year. We had some great adventures and I donРІР‚в„ўt think IРІР‚в„ўve ever laughed so hard. Ideally, IРІР‚в„ўd like to find someone who wants to learn and explore more of the world with me. I also enjoy simple weekend getaways or even just hopping in the car for a Sunday drive to see what we can find in our own backyard.
Having my children so early in life taught me the importance of being independent and self-reliant. I donРІР‚в„ўt need to be taken care of, but I do want to be taken care of. I want the security of knowing that IРІР‚в„ўm somebodies everything and loved beyond words.
