I certainly don't have any idea how to date- it's a mystery to me now. I was married for 16 years and we decided to part ways amicably. Something interesting about me: I have the ability to carry on a conversation with just about anyone as everyone has something interesting about them if you dig deep enough. I attribute this to having tended bar, waitressed and worked in the service industry before I became a social worker. I have a very irreverent sense of humor and if you fall down in public I will probably laugh-after I make sure you aren't seriously injured. I love live theatre and really want to travel to some other countries. Tacos in Ensenada on a whim is a good start. I once heard that a person that doesn't travel is like a person that lives in the library of Congress and only reads one book. Every time that crosses my mind it annoys me that I have not been around this big world. I like to work out at the gym and would love to find someone who has an interest in that as well. I'm curious and interested (won't judge, everyone's made bad decisions sometime in their life) in my partner so if you're uncomfortable talking about yourself (or feel you have to lie about your past) I'm not a good choice for you.
Very fortunate to have a good job close to home with people I like and hang out with. I'm self sufficient. I believe in chemistry. My main photo is from 2009 (dang time flies by) but the rest are current (I don't think I changed that much).

Date a soulmate from Long Beach, United States. I am an outgoing fun-loving gal. It is hard to decribe yourself without sounding conceited but I'll give it a try. I am tall with long, light brown hair. I have blue eyes and a great sense of humor. I am not afraid to laugh at myself. I am usually very athletic. Recent recovery from an injury has slowed down the routine. The big plan is to get back into a regular schedule. I've been involved in various running/walking races including a Team event which I am still involved. I've met many great friends this way. I am new to this on-line thing. I know Mr. Wonderful is out there so I am trying this to help him find me. Without coming to the computer with too much "baggage", I recently ended a long-term relationship. I thought it would be forever so this is not easy to be in this again. I don't want any games, just someone to spend the rest of my life with. "Life is good" but I want it to be great. I miss the daily "sharing my life" with that someone special. I am originally from New York. I lived in Florida for a short time and then moved to California. I still have a lot of family back east, so I try to visit New York when I can. For living 3,000 miles away, I think I have a close relationship with my family. We all talk on a regular basis. I feel like I have been very successful in my career. I've been in the same field for over 16 years. I just recently completed my Master's Degree. I love my job but I don't want to be defined by my job. At the end of the day, I want to go home to my family. For now, my family is my adorable four-legged friend. I have a great dog. She needs a family, too. :) I have always wanted to hike the Grand Canyon. I am behind schedule on that plan but I'd love to find someone who would love to do that someday. I have done a few marathons. I hope to do more. Having a goal makes it easier. I guess I can say I am open to try other sports, except bungee jumping. I just don't get it. (Hello)
