My closest friends would describe me as a free spirit. My grandchildren especially make me smile. I am most proud of my son and his accomplishments. Here is the hard part, describe myself in a few paragraphs to someone that does not know me… Well, I can say that I've had good and bad experiences in life I think just like most people, but I’d like to think I've learned from my mistakes and am a well-balanced person with no real baggage to speak of . .gosh is that possible!? But hey, I’m certainly not perfect, how boring that would be. I’m a bit of a hopeless optimist… why let unhappy people get to you. I try to treat people the way I would like to be treated in return. I do have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor and like to tease, and I can also take what I dish out. I don't take myself seriously and I have no problem poking fun at myself …. I’m basically kind of a goof at heart. I think of myself as more of a traditional person, likely because I am from the East Coast, so I do act and like to be treated like a lady; I truly appreciate it when a man holds the door for me and I want the man to be a man. I guess I am a bit of a girlie-girl when you see me, but there's definitely a tom boy hiding inside. So I’ve tried to throw a joke or two in, because I do like to goof around . . . but there is so much more to me than what is expressed in just a paragraph.
When meeting someone new, I think everyone knows it starts with chemistry, and then pretty much things just flow, well I hope so anyway. I would like to meet someone with a good heart, a kind and caring personality, and can have fun doing whatever, be it playing outside or snuggled inside on the couch with a glass of wine and a movie… Oh yeah! Hopefully, you’ve put your past behind you and are a well-balanced individual emotionally (I know it's a lot to hope for :-) I am an affectionate/touchy kind of person and like to take care of the one I love, just like I would like to be taken care of. I do lead a healthy lifestyle and enjoy staying in shape and would like to be with someone that feels the same way. So those are just the basics, but if there is chemistry when you look into someone's eyes... then that’s a great start to a world of possibilities.... remember, I did say I was a hopeless optimist :-)
