I love the outdoors and God has given us so many natural gifts I want to see and experience them all. I am full figured but I exercise every day and I try and live a very healthy life style. I have nothing to hide I just don't want to be the poster child at work. The advantage of working with all men is that I know things other women do not. For example, I know when to just be quiet and back off, that when a man tells you what he has to say he is done with the subject so do not drag it back up, and the big one why men don't read the directions first..lol I took an opinion pole a few weeks back from the guys concerning myself and here is what they said (thought I would let them do some of the work for you guys out there since they know me best): I am quick to praise and slow to be critical, I am the kind of person who almost everyone knows by name, I am the first to be called when someone needs help, the last to leave when they do need help, I am not afraid to get dirty but then it is time to get clean, I am the first to stand up and speak up when someone is being done wrong, I stand by my word, and things are seldom middle of the road with me. I was thrown off by the not being in the middle of the road and had to get them to clear that issue up and here is the example they gave me. I almost always drive the speed limit but for my birthday I went to the Atlanta Motor Speedway and drove hot laps and passed the guys I went with and let me tell you from experience, what an adrenaline rush! When those engines fire up you can't help but feel the excitement. Next year I think it is going to have to be Talladega, I can only imagine the rush you would get on those high banked turns. I have 2 fun and wonderful girls. My oldest is in the process of moving off to college and the youngest is a senior in high school. I do admit that I am their worst nightmare, because I am the "coolest mom ever" according to all of their friends and neighborhood kids. I am not a very good animal person. I am too busy having fun with the humans. We do have cats and I haven't tossed them out yet. Dogs are ok...kinda like grandkids. I can honestly say that I haven't shot one lately.
My match must know how to smile most of the time, have brains and love beer and champagne (not necessarily together) If he smokes a stogie every now and then that will be fine too, who knows I just might join him. I have been known to smoke a few and there are pictures to prove it so I can't lie about that one. I have recently returned home to my roots of the Birmingham area after a 20 year tour of the southeastern states. I've lived in 5 of the southeastern states....lived in the mountains and lived on the beach, but nothing compares to coming home to where it all began. I have a strong faith in God. He gave me two of the most loving and loyal parents as role models. I believe people are placed in each others path for a reason. Never pass up the opportunity to meet those people and at the very least you will have made a new friend.
I was blessed to spend 20 years with my late husband and he gave me the most beautiful gifts in the world...my two children. I was widowed very young (45 is way too young to be labeled widow in my opinion) and I feel certain I am not meant to be alone for the rest of my life.
