I grew up on the Gulf coast so I love the water and everything that involves (boating, jet-skiing) etc. I love the mountains and the outdoors (camping, hiking, just enjoying nature).
My interests are pottery and crafts, dancing, cooking, gardening, theater, concerts, festivals, flea markets. I enjoy a night on the town or staying in with dinner and a movie.

Part of my New Year's resolution was to begin living the life I've wanted to live. So I began by compiling My Bucket List. I have no reason to believe that I'll be kicking the bucket anytime soon...it's just a way for me to keep focused on some goals. Over the past couple of months I've marked off Take a glass blowing class, Go 4-wheeling and Jump from a perfectly good airplane. A few items remaining on my list...Attempt to snow ski--Perfect the art of frying chicken (even though I rarely eat fried foods)-Learn to knit-Rough it on a weekend camping/canoe trip-Get my first tattoo--Ride a zip line-Sip wine at a villa in Tuscany-Take son to Disney...I've already checked one of these items off the list...guess which one!
Would be incredible to share these experiences with someone special!

I believe that in dating, after a date or two, one knows if they want to move on to the next level (companionship), or not.

Date a woman from United States. I love to be around people who make me laugh. Life can be really tough sometimes... you have to have a sense of humor about it all.
I grew up in Huntsville, but my parents moved here from northern Kentucky. My dad hired on with the government and my parents decided to stay in Huntsville. They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year and just returned from a month-long trip to France, Spain, and Italy. It would be so nice to meet someone and travel like my parents do.
Since my parents grew up north of the Mason-Dixon line, I didn't grow up eating collard greens, fried okra, or fried tomatoes. When I went away to college in Mobile, AL, my friends turned me on to all kinds of good stuff. I still love to enjoy a crawfish boil when given the opportunity.
I love to be outdoors working in the yard or tanning by the pool.
I do have one deal breaker....I don't smoke and don't want to be around smokers. I don't care if they are trying to quit or only smoke occasionally. No thanks.

. First let me say thank you for noticing me and reading my profile. I am looking for a partner- not someone who wants to control me or needs a mother. I believe in "our/couple time, family time, Kid time, and My/Your time". I have 3 wonderful sons. If you don't like kids, I am not the one for you. Due to circumstances concerning my middle child, I am not able to move out of the North Alabama area. I am just as comfortable dressed up as i am in jeans and no make-up (which I only wear if the situation deems it necessary) I am not a "10" and i don't want or have the time to be. I am very eclectic in my likes and dislikes. I have been described as very Bohemian. I use bell south, if you are resourceful. I do not like cold weather, I prefer the summer.(less clothes to wear...lol) I am not a morning person, I function as I have to but don't expect me to be fluffy about it. I don't mind spiders and snakes but am terrified of "cave/camel crickets".
