Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. After loosing my husband to cancer very slowly, I need to start enjoying life and what it has to offer, have fun and get away from anything and everything for a while.Caring for someone is very hard and puts in perspective what life can be like.
The question of bodytype sounds kind of silly to me. Does slender mean skinny, does curvy mean fat, and what about average? Who wants to be average? I am pretty happy with my body as to where I can buy nice clothes and look (at least in my eyes) pretty good. I am being told that my legs are one of my nicest features. I really don't know if that's a compliment or if it is supposed to hide the rest of the body:)
I am looking for someone right now who is extremely patient and understanding. I am still getting upset at times about loosing my late husband, although we knew for four years that the day would come and I thought I was prepared. But there is no preparing for a situation like this.
I want to travel the country, stay at places that I like, enjoy my life and find peace in my life again. This would be much better with someone than alone. My next travel will be to Las Vegas (never been there). Although I do not gamble I love to see the city and all the things to do. After that I would like to go to New York (never been there either).
It would be nice to say "Honey, I'm home" again. It gets pretty lonely from time to time. And girlfriends can only do so much to entertain me, but they are trying really hard.
I don't like to put my pictures out there and not knowing where they end up, but I will send it once we talk.
I am not looking for anyone who is still trying to find themselves, jumping from job to job, struggling to make ends meet. I worked to hard to get where I am now to settle for less now.
I quit smoking for over 10 years and just recently picked that bad habit up again. But, I will quit again and do not like to be around smokers. Although I smoke (only outside when I'm alone) I hate the smell of cold lingering smoke.

I have several brothers so my hobbies and habits are all over.... I enjoy baseball and will watch basketball, always make an extra effort to be able to watch football. I don't know much about hockey- although I have been to a game, I understand Golf.... it doesn't really interest me- but I can drive and take score .....I can fish, I would hunt, I can scuba and skydive, and rollerskate. I would love to learn to play a musical instrument, and want to take martial arts classes.
I cook too...I do that because I get hungry. I love all types of food, BUT my favorite type of food is cooked for me! ;-)
RULE: If you cook, I will clean. I also believe poptarts are not junk food if you eat them before noon, they are breakfast.
I enjoy vacations like the next person, but I'm not in a place in my life to say I can be some travel partner, unless it's a weekend or an actual "vacation", because I have a regular job and commitments-- I will look foward to that carefree dreamy life once I retire.
