As we are all busy, we have to have compatible lifestyle, values, hobbies, eating preference... so we can enjoy spending time together without having to change our lives too much. I am kind of an early bird and I like to practice piano (I am always working on new pieces for performances), and to exercise - Bikram yoga, or riding my road bike attacking the summit of Mt. Diablo (although kind of slow on 8% plus grade terrain, I am a rather tenacious climber on my bike), or with my bike club in Benicia - in the morning. I am an environmentalist and non-conformist. I like to go hiking/backpacking, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing, camping, and I like taking my dog and kids to beaches. And I am a vegan, for the vast majority of my meals (I make/eat Sushi occasionally). So, there, that is how I live my life and I really enjoy it. So, my partner needs to like, and to be supportive of the way I live my life. If you have flexible schedule and/or lots of free time like I do with your work and could enjoy some of these activities with me, that would be ideal.
I guess I have very special love for the joy of being outdoor, exercising, camping out, and traveling at the same time. So activities such as backpacking and bike-touring have very special and unique appeal to me. I really hope to find someone who shares the same passion with me, and I really wish to cover some mileage on this beautiful planet with this person.
In my down time, I enjoy cooking healthy and yummy meals while listening to some great music. I enjoy it even more when I do this while taking sips of beer or wine with good company in the kitchen. I try to eat healthy and most of my meals are vegan but I am not too strict about this. I cook regular meals for my kids and I don't mind ordering a dish with some meat in it to share at restaurant. But I would definitely appreciate it if you are conscious about what you eat and enjoy living healthy lifestyle. It means so much to me. I enjoy watching variety of movies, some TV shows like Nova, Nature, House, The Big Bang Theory and some cooking shows, but I donРІР‚в„ўt watch TV much.

that's pretty much all you need to know :), but here are a few more details:
I am a local - grew up in Berkeley/Walnut Creek, spent many years living in SF, and am now out in the East Bay where I've got a stable job, a fun group of friends and family close by. I am very active and the East Bay provides a great place to do all the things I enjoy doing outside. I love being outside. Triathlon training is something I do for fun and physical fitness, whether competing or not. I've got a pretty competitive streak but you wouldn't know it. I train as a stress reliever, because i enjoy it and it's a great social outlet.
I'd like to find someone who is physically active, easy going, funny, has friends and a life of his own. I'm not the needy type and do not need to spend every waking moment with someone :) That said, I am looking for a long- term relationship. It's been my experience that if we don't share the same long-term goals, we probably won't have success in a long-term relationship. But it has to start with compatibility and chemistry.
