I've finally started traveling the world over the past year and have loved every minute of it. I've been to cities in Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia as well as a cruise of the Winward Islands in the Caribbean. I'd love to meet someone who is also interested in travel. Going back to Croatia as well as seeing the Galapagos Islands are at the top of my must see list.

I find enjoyment in the simple things in life. I love watching the sunrise over the Tennessee river while I am walking/jogging every morning. I am content spending time with my dog, friends and family. I do not have children; however, I do keep in contact with my step-son and his mother (my ex-husbands second wife). Some of my best memories are times I shared with my step-son. (I have been divorced for 12 years)
I volunteer for a few different organizations. I have volunteered with BBBS and H/H. For the most part, my friends would describe me as independent, on most occasions intellegent, a little head strong, compassionate with a wicked sense of humor. I believe in respecting the differences in others and celebrating those things in common. A few issues in which I am passionate are the human and ethical treatment of animals, the elderly and children. I enjoy taking my dog for walks, reading books, watching classic (black/white) movies (thank goodness for the TMC network) and I excercise at least five days out of the week.
I went on a voyage of self discovery and experiencing new things. I went to culinary school, took a bartending course, began flying lessons, attempted to learn a 3rd language and also attempted to learn a musical instrument. I also went back to school to major in Sociology being that I was not utilizing my first major, Sound Engineering.
I am athletic, I enjoy playing softball, volleyball, golf, bowling and still shoot a descent game of pool. I like going to the mountains to hike and whitewater raft. I have a bit of an adventurous side. I love going to museums, art galleries, wine tasting, concerts and sporting events.
I have worked in the music industry (late 80's early 90's), construction, human resources, for a fortune 500 company and now find myself working for the largest retail company. Currently in the process transferring to one of our many stores in Tennessee (hopefully the Nashville Area).
What I am looking for in a man........... I want to meet someone that enjoys life, sees the glass as half-full (completely or overflowing would be great too). Would be great if you enjoyed sports a round of golf, or a "friendly" game of pool, volleyball or softball. (I am a extremely competitive) You should like watching an occasional football game (college/professional), I enjoy I good tailgate every once and a while. Trivia is an olympic sport at the house, so it would be a good thing if you had an endless supply of usless knowledge. Hope you could be just as comfortable in jeans and a tee-shirt as in black tie.
