I live close to Birmingham, Al, I have lived in this area for just about 2yrs.
Grew up on the coast, always go home for the beach and Mardi Gras.
I have a job, house, dog, cat, car and kids... like most people. I stay pretty active, run several times a week and even have a gym membership. I am an early morning person, news watcher, and coffee drinker. I recently bought a tent, going to try camping.
I have been all over the world, I know after about 4 hours on a plane my feet are swelling. I prefer sunny days!
For me there MUST be a mental as well as a physical attraction.… Not a Hopeless romantic rather hopeful.
The guy for me has to have personality, Quick wit, can hold his own with banter, and smiles often.
You only live once, I don't want a person who is borring or closed minded, or not willing to do or try new things.
I watch very little TV, (Dexter, NCIS, TRU TV, crime shows, Americas Funniest Videos and History TV)

I have several brothers so my hobbies and habits are all over.... I enjoy baseball and will watch basketball, always make an extra effort to be able to watch football. I don't know much about hockey- although I have been to a game, I understand Golf.... it doesn't really interest me- but I can drive and take score .....I can fish, I would hunt, I can scuba and skydive, and rollerskate. I would love to learn to play a musical instrument, and want to take martial arts classes.
I cook too...I do that because I get hungry. I love all types of food, BUT my favorite type of food is cooked for me! ;-)
RULE: If you cook, I will clean. I also believe poptarts are not junk food if you eat them before noon, they are breakfast.
I enjoy vacations like the next person, but I'm not in a place in my life to say I can be some travel partner, unless it's a weekend or an actual "vacation", because I have a regular job and commitments-- I will look foward to that carefree dreamy life once I retire.
I have had a membership on this site for a while, and no real connection- Maybe it's because I don't LOVE nascar, or 4Wheeled trucks.
I joined this site like everyone else, I work and I don't want to date anyone at work. I don't hang out in bars, or having kids, I don't do as many adult things as I would like.....so if you have read this read far, email me .....
