I have found my place in life and feel a lot of professional and personal satisfaction in serving and helping people with disabilities as their faculty and counselor. I find meaning and pleasure in it because I value people and relationship. My profession is important to me, but I keep a balance between it and my personal life! INTERESTS:I am eclectic when it comes to music and other interests: I love ALL kinds of music with the exception of some country and rap. I especially love and follow NEW "emerging" alternative and indie rock and electronic music/concerts. HERE are some of my favorite current bands: First four bands listed I picked as Grammy winners in 2010 and they won! (Arcade Fire, Muse, Black Keys, La Roux,) Thievery Corporation, MGMT, The Shins, Mumford and sons, Cut Copy, Chromeo, Likke Li just to name a few...(prefer small venues in SF), festivals, art and any type of museums, weekend excursions, cinema (indie,foreign, documentaries, sci-fi my favs), plays, comedy, dining, hiking, swimming, dance, curling up with a good book, shopping, thrifting, singing (currently working on Joni Mitchell and Amy Winehouse). I'm a good traveler and love it! I have traveled for four months through Europe, had some tropical vacations, and seen parts of the US. But like everyone else it seems on here would love to do more! Especially with my guy : ) I would love to learn scuba, too. I am open to your interests/activities/ideas so don't count me out if I didn't include that!

I dedicated 37 years of my life to work and raising my 2 children by myself, the last 12 years I moved back in with my mother to help her on her small ranch after my father passed away.
