Ideally he is geographically desirable as I have no plans to relocate, (of course there are always exceptions to the rules, right!!) In addition, it would be nice if he has children that are grown. (Or perhaps we cook up a meal together!) Plus, if he's handy, that's a bonus! Though I'm an independent and strong woman, it doesn't mean I believe chivalry is dead. I still like having the doors opened and those kinds of chivalrous things. As far as appearance goes, I'm a sucker for a tall guy with a great smile! (I have a thing about teeth. Since I think hygiene is important! )
I'd like to find someone that knows relationships are work, he's willing to roll up his sleeves and dedicate the time it takes to make it work, and understands it takes effort and compromise from each side. Marriage would be a word that he can actually say without choking on, a commitment that he genuinely wants (soon, not when he's 60) and just truly wants to settle down. Someone (ideally my best friend) that can share life experiences with me, (not without) laughter, travel, cooking meals together, wine, social events and much more! Someone that wants to be "out of the scene" and in something that's real...
