My children are very important to me and my work is a priority. I run my own business, which involves managing several other people in a customer service industry. I don't have a lot of free time, so consequently, my leisure time is valuable to me at this point in my life.

I traveled through Europe many years ago, exploring the museums, historical landmarks, and local dives. Since my family emigrated from Europe, I was able to stay with various friends along the way. More recently I traveled to NYC, DC, Pennsylvania and Chicago with my children. We explored the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Art Institute of Chicago, among other places. Anything historical, musical or art related intrigues me. The Architectural River Cruise in Chicago was particularly delightful.
In my free time I like to catch a Shakespeare play at the Marin Shakespeare Company's venue at Dominican University, usually with my kids. I've seen Julius Caesar, Story of Antony & Cleopatra, and King John. When it comes to film, I appreciate all different types of genre, such as comedy, action, drama, and art house. Akira Kurosawa is a favorite director of mine.
Music is an important part of my life. I took classical piano for over 13 years, and classical guitar in my first two years of college. My children have taken music lessons, so we are used to listening or playing music as a part of our daily lives. Although I love classical music, I listen to and appreciate all types of music, including jazz, pop, rock, and even rap (I have a teenage son).
Being outdoors in nature: listening to sounds of birds at dawn or running water of a creek, smelling the newly turned soil in the garden and the fragrance of a rose, watching bees collect pollen or gazing up into the grandeur of a redwood tree...these are the joys of life on this earth that I relish. And I find it a privilege when I have the time to jump on my bike and spend an hour or two riding outside, particularly in the early morning.

Meet a woman from California, United States. It's been an interesting journey for me so far. A lot of life lessons, a lot of growing and a lot of learning. I'm loyal and protective of people I care about. Traveling and visiting different places near and far is one of my passions. It's just so exciting exploring new places, meeting different people and learning their cultures. I travel to a diff. destination at least once a year. More fun things I enjoy are wine tasting, trying new and diff. restaurants (love to eat), camping and hiking, boating and fishing (love the water), and of course dancing. I love trying new and exciting things. I would like to meet honest, kind and family oriented people and I'm looking for friends to do fun and exciting things with, as well as build meaningful friendships. And if I meet someone special along the way, all the better. For in the end, it's the journey that counts and all the people you meet along the way!
OK if that's too deep and heavy, I'm also interested in meeting people who are fun, adventurous, think outside of the box, are "off centered" and of course "got game" :)
