Date a woman from United States. I'm very honest, straight forward, don't play games, easy going, laugh a lot and enjoy the simple things in life. I'm looking to meet new friends, have fun conversations and see where it goes! My friends and family mean the world to me! Life's a journey and it's interesting to see how things unfold. I'm new to this site and thought I'd give it a shot!
I like people who are expressive, confident, spontaneous, romantic, can laugh at silly things, happy, positive and have a good heart! Love a guy that is a true gentleman!!!! I'm a hopeless romantic, love to hold hands walking down the beach or cozy up to a nice crackling fire! I enjoy casual restaurants, love eating outside, the mom and pop hidden places and dive bars... Lol
Thanks for reading my profile. May peace and happiness fill your heart in your journey of new friends or a long time companion!
Meet someone special from United States. If you could go anywhere, what would you do? Helicopter flight to Franz Joseph Glacier in New Zealand? Zip-lining in Costa Rica? Canoe trip in Africa? I already checked those off my bucket list, but would love to find a new friend for more adventures and long-term companionship.
My brother-in-law says before I go on I should first tell you few things that don’t resonate with me: I’m not interested in hanging out at football & baseball games. I don’t need someone to take care of me or save me. And I’m too independent to cater to someone who’s needy. I don’t subscribe to any single religion, but do believe it’s important to be self-aware, respect others, love unconditionally, and pay it forward. I seek a man who is my equal in both lifestyle and philosophy, supportive when I need it, responsible and independent like me, and appreciates a dry sense of humor –you’ll need it with my inner circle.
I was lucky to grow up in the South Bay with great parents who encouraged me to grow, dream, be independent, and be responsible. In my family you had to learn to do things for yourself: cook; sew; balance a checkbook; change a tire. But we always support each other as well. Parental influences include Monty Python, Masterpiece Theater, sarcasm and camping trips to Yosemite. I took the long road through college, had my fun living at the beach and experienced other parts of the world before I finally settled into my Silicon Valley career in high tech ops. Now itРІР‚в„ўs all about trying to find that balance between early-morning conference calls (IРІР‚в„ўm not a morning person!), yard work, and time with friends and family. I never had kids of my own, but love all my nephews and nieces, both biological and РІР‚?adopted.РІР‚в„ў
Weekends always seem too short, but in my precious free time I enjoy hiking the local trails, picking out organic veggies at the farmers market, BBQ-ing with friends, watching Indie films (Best Cinequest films this year IMO: “Come as You Are,” a comedy about three young handicapped Belgian guys trying to make their way to a brothel in Spain and “The Lady” about Nobel Peace Prize Winner Aung San Suu Kyi.), checking out live music (The U2 360 Tour was awesome!) and alone time to re-charge my batteries. I’ve always had a love for music, from 70’s Funk to Hard Rock and 80’s Alternative to more recent favs Broken Bells, Gomez, Mumford & Sons.
"Every person, all the events of your life, are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you." -from Illusions by Richard Bach
Good luck in your quest!
