I am a tourist in my own backyard. I feel that Southern California is a vacation destination and I spend a great deal of time enjoying all the benefits of living in this area. I don't think there is a much more magnificent drive than cruising up PCH in my convertible overlooking the Pacific coast. The beaches from South County San Clemente to Huntington Dog Beach are fabulous. I enjoy running the trails in Peter's Canyon and Crystal Cove. I weekend at the cottages in Crystal Cove several times a year. SUP or kayaking in Newport Harbor on a winter week day is amazingly peaceful. I go to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and/or South Coast Repertory monthly. Bower's Museum, Orange County Art Museum, Laguna Beach Art Museum and walking the galleries in Laguna are all inspiring. As you can tell I find happiness in simple local pleasures. I truly enjoy a fine dining experience but frequent home cooked meals enjoyed by candlelight make busy week days special. Whether it is fine dining or a picnic on the sand I'll always wear a sexy dress with bare feet or high heels.
