Date people from San Francisco, United States. IРІР‚в„ўm always up for an adventure, large or small, and I have a knack for finding them. IРІР‚в„ўm an instigator, a troublemaker, a motivator and one to persuade you that staying at home on this fine day is a bad idea. IРІР‚в„ўm easily amused and rarely bored and generally up for most things (at least once) as IРІР‚в„ўve found that thereРІР‚в„ўs fun to be had pretty much anywhere. Outdoors, indoors, in far flung corners of the world or in the neighborhood park. I like adventures in food, in music, in art and science, and in the random, the bizarre and the ridiculous. I've travelled a lot and have many, many grand plans, but I do love the experience that is living in San Francisco.
I like variety. I'm as happy staying out all night dancing and sleeping all day as getting up at the crack of dawn to head out on a trip somewhere. Other days it's nice to just chill out, sit still, and do very little.
Contributing something worthwhile to the world is important to me. This starts with my personal mission of increasing self-awareness and trying to live my life as the conscious, honest, positive, and caring person that I strive to be. Helping my friends and other people around me to be happier is a big driving force for me. And after I solve that, somehow I'm going to save the world. Just as soon as I work out how....
I’m very active and like to be outside as much as possible. I have a penchant for dangerous sports but sadly have had to curb that recently since my last hang gliding lesson didn’t go so well… rock climbing was my first love but lately I've been kayaking a lot. I bought two sea kayaks at the end of last year and have been hugeley enjoying exploring with those. And very recently I've got to play with the the whitewater, which is great fun . And there's SCUBA, and finding hotsprings, hiking, and playing in the snow, and feeling the sand between my toes on the beach, or lying in the sun watching clouds .... or just appreciating what an incredibly beautiful part of the world I live in.
I'm also trying to improve my meditation practice - or at least practice more often. I'd put myself in the "spiritual but not religious" box but not the "very new age" one. It would be nice to meet someone with a similar outlook, but some shared understanding and acceptance of core values is really what matters.
I'm happy with my life and appreciate what I have, but I'm trying this internet dating business because ultimately I'm also looking for a somewhat like-minded, fun, adventurous man to share a meaningful relationship. We don't have to agree on everything, nor like all the same things, but if you're only looking for something casual, are very conservative, not into the outdoors at all or are sure you'll never wan't want kids then we're probably not compatible.
Meet someone special from San Francisco, United States. A little about me...well let me start by saying that I am surrounded by wonderful family and friends, I have a fantastic and very successful career and my life has been filled with incredible experiences.
I am an extremely well-rounded person and I live life to its fullest. I am a fun, caring, independent, well educated, intelligent, adventurous, emotionally stable, easy going, happy, down to earth, driven woman and I know what I want out of life. I can laugh at myself (and often do), I can roll with the punches, I have a very quick wit, I am very approachable and I can talk with anyone. If you are looking for someone who suffers from mood swings and likes to fill their life with drama and chaos, you will have to look elsewhere. You will not find it here. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff.
I have a very diverse set of interests and I am always up for exploring the world, trying new things and taking risks. I love a great evening of dinner and the theatre but I also love a day kicking back at the ballpark. I love smoking a good cigar with the guys but I also love nights out with the girls. I enjoy heli-skiing in New Zealand, scuba diving in Croatia, surfing in Hawaii, and playing golf...well anywhere really, but I also enjoy just hanging out at home with my family and friends.
What am I looking for? I am looking for someone who enhances my life. I am looking for someone who makes me laugh more than I already do, teaches me about things I know nothing about, challenges me, supports and encourages me and someone who makes everything and every day more enjoyable. I would hope the man in my life would be looking for the same things from me.
In addition to the above, I am looking for someone who has a happy/positive disposition, who has strong morals and values, who is looking for a long term relationship, who values the importance of honesty and open communication, who respects and supports their partner and someone who is down to earth, fun, caring and loving. Bonus points if you believe that chivalry is not dead!
If this sounds like you, please drop me a line!
Date a woman from San Francisco, United States. About me, IРІР‚в„ўm genuine and optimistic. IРІР‚в„ўm equally comfortable being dressed up for night on the town or staying in with a simple meal, wine, and conversation. I enjoy socializing, traveling, and trying new things. I have an independent spirit and a sense of humor. What my friends notice about me is that, at times, I can be sassy and have a joie de vivre.
I'm looking for a man who is comfortable with himself and whose priorities include finding someone equally amazing to enjoy life with. I consider being honest and having a sense of humor to be a good starting point. You must be someone who appreciates and values relationships with friends and family.
Now itРІР‚в„ўs your turn. How about you tell me what your favorite wine is and why?
Mine would be a pinot noir preferably medium-bodied, fruit-forward, with a smooth finish and slight tannins. That may sound like a dirty joke, but if it made you smile, then itРІР‚в„ўs your turn to make me smile.
Meet a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. On the exterior I’m a sophisticated city dweller, but it’s the family and values nurtured by a sweet small town upbringing that are my rock. The explorer in me contemplates my next adventure based on how long my current weird vaccinations are good for. I’ve caught piranha while canoeing remote tributaries of the Amazon River and chased the Great Migration across East Africa. Making a special meal from scratch and sharing it with a table full of good friends or family is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening. I enjoy vigorous, do it till you can’t do it anymore exercise...with a purpose. I ran a marathon up in Alaska—but sometimes waffles with maple syrup are purpose enough! I’m more traditional than not. I can hold my own on the tennis court. I keep secrets. I appreciate the arts, but don’t spend every second of a European vacation holed up in a museum. The countryside, mountains and ocean relax and recharge me. I think simplicity makes everything more beautiful. I believe in balancing career with a substantive life outside work, and I take time to nurture relationships with people who are special to me.
You’re both book-smart and streetwise, yet refreshingly unimpressed by it. You’re worldly, and your rivers run deep… An unrepentant adventurer, you’ll want to one day hike the villages of Cinque Terre with me or take in the view from Glacier Point at Yosemite. But you’re a good decision-maker and have mostly tamed your reckless side. Family is your number one priority and integrity is the value you hold above all others. You believe in preserving family traditions and maintaining meaningful relationships over the years. You’ll engage the wonderer in me into the wee hours, but you appreciate a comfortable silence between people who truly feel at ease together. I tend to be attracted to intelligence, authenticity and those who possess that special, innate enthusiasm for life. You’ve long outgrown an aimless prowling of the bar scene—now you’re looking for something special.
Date men and women from San Francisco, United States. I'd like to think I'm a fun, well-rounded, minimal drama, slightly geeky, real nice lady. By day I teach social justice based theatre to classes full of hormonal teens and by night I perform and teach improv to slightly less hormonal adults. I have lived on three continents and traveled quite a bit through Europe and Asia, with hopes to do much much more.
Why your mom will like me: I work with kids and basically am saving the world. I sort of speak multiple languages, love high heels and dressing up, will listen to parents and grand-parents tell endless stories and be truly engaged. Why your 8th grade nephew will like me: I still giggle at a fart sound, laugh at a poop joke, will debate which Star Wars and Star Treks are the better, leave long rambling messages, have a pretty nice rack, and rarely sing the correct words to any song.
I prefer discussions to debates, admire intellectual conversation as well as senseless trivia. I am an extremely loyal and supportive friend. I admire a subtle humor and good comedic timing. I have a reverence for all things vintage and have a slight romance with things circus, side-show, and vaudeville. Love to travel, sit at the beach, walk around the city, be outside, watch movies, hear live music, and be exposed to new things. I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years and am a pretty good cook and a great baker, I don't really know how to cook most meats, but will not be too judgey when you do.
I appreciate people that are my equal - though we may have different strengths and weaknesses and compliment each other in those ways. I most enjoy a good mix of extrovert and introvert in a person. I find extremely seriuos people with brooding dark cloud ruminations a poor match. I'd rather be around people that don't create drama ~ life has enough ups and downs without making it for yourself. I admire people that are at ease in a variety of settings and situations ~ People that can just as easily have silly fun or a serious conversation are my favorites.
Meet people from California, United States. I'm looking for a partner in crime and a lasting relationship. I love travel, books, wine, movies, swimming, hiking, cooking, art, photography, museums, dancing, ballet, live music, the beach, the mountains, long drives, lazy sundays, nights out, nights in, and great conversation. My life is pretty grand as things go - I have a very close and loving family, life-long friends, a fantastic career, a keen intellect and desire to continue to learn and grow, and I have a true sense of self and spirit. All that's missing is someone to share this all with. If you see something in my profile that catches your eye, drop me a note.
Until then...
Date someone special from California, United States. I am outgoing, positive, and grounded. I like to be out and about exploring new places and activities (its backpacking season now), learning new things (like drawing) and meeting new people. I run, bike and dance. I love the arts and go to theater on regular basis to check out the latest plays (Curse of the Starving Class is next), film festivals or live music preferably in an outdoor setting (Outside Lands, High Sierra Music Festival, Bridge School Benefit...).
I spend my quiet time reading, listening to podcasts (my fav: Slate's political and cultural gabfest), playing with photography and I love making and sharing meals with others.I am an intuitive cook with a neck for creating on the go healthy seasonal recipes... such as gazpacho or tabouli salad.
I'm originally from Europe and have been in California for 15 years. I work in high-tech, digital media space.
I am looking for a partner-in-crime, someone who wants to create an interesting life together filled with learning, adventure, caring for each other, generosity, and love. Something cool needs to be in the mix.
Meet a woman from California, United States. I am looking for a great American, mature, humour, sucessful, and handsome.whom love kids, intresting in foreign clture, love food, love travel, gentle, thoughtful, to share life. I like to learn from him about the America clture, and all the others.
Date a soulmate from California, United States. I recently moved back to San Francisco and am so glad I'm here. I'm focusing on experiencing as much as I can of the city that I never got the chance to when I lived here last. :-) I'm born & raised in a northern suburb of Philadelphia, went to college in SF, moved & traveled a bit and now back in SF. Philly girl living the Cali life. lol I love my Eagles, Phillies, & Flyers still!
I love live music, attending freebie fests, and still touristing in SF and nearby cities. I love dogs, elephants, dolphins, whales, animals in general. I come from a big family, so therefore I am very family-oriented, but love my separate SF life (they all live back east). I like watching movies, attending sport events, reading, scrapbooking and learning new things- took photography, archery, fencing, cupcake decorating & now I'm taking Zumba, French and intermediate salsa lessons!
Street fairs, Stern Grove & Ybca concerts are here!! Zip-lining, kite-surfing, and beehive keeping anyone?!? lol. Onto the next adventure!!
You are single, straight, honorable and looking for a good friend andor life partner. I'm definitely not interested in anything just casual. If you want to be friends only, be up front. I can always use more friends. Ideally, though, I am looking for my future mate- someone I can trust, rely on, grow old with, be serious with and have fun. My gml's TeenaSanFran.
Did I mentioned that you NEED to be single, straight & honorable? Just checking....lol
Meet men and women from California, United States. I love learning about people so I'll probably ask you a million questions about every little thing... that's the nosy writer in me. :) I enjoy most of the things I'm doing right now: writing, reading, catching up on all my TV shows. I'm in graduate school at State getting a degree in Creative Writing, have a novel to finish, a poetry manuscript to revise and so many places I want to go out to in the city.
THAT SAID: This summer I'm traveling all over the country, so I will be in and out of SF quite a bit. I'm hoping to get out to Tahoe and Yosemite at some point and WINE COUNTRY! Also, I hate parking, so if you want to pick me up, we'll have a better chance at actually meeting. LOL. I have a dog named Kenji and we get out pretty regularly together. I'm not super into night life activities--I used to work in the film business and kind of burnt out on parties with drunk folks--but I do love to dance. I'm looking for someone who knows how to hang out and have a great time. I'm not a "sport dater" so if you are a date-hoarder, we can grab a drink and trade war stories, but it probably won't go any further than that... also, I'm into trading war stories. LOL.
Please have clear pic of your face posted if you want a reply. Thanks!
Seriously, on the serious stuff... time reveals all, so....
Date people from United States. Hmmmm...where to start?
Well, I believe an important thing to know about me is that I am very positive. I believe that what we think and profess is powerful, so I always try to stay conscious of my words and actions. I have a good sense of humor. I am open, kind, fun-loving, passionate and resourceful.
Being a great mom to my 2 young children is the most rewarding (and challenging) aspect of my life.
I also love to stay active with daily activities of hiking, long walks, lifting weights, some running, dancing (mostly in my living room), etc. I am a good communicator. I have often been told that it doesn't take much to make me happy because small gestures of kindness and thoughtfulness mean the world to me.
I am not looking for a casual hook up, if thats ultimately all you are looking for do not bother responding to my profile.
IРІР‚в„ўd like to meet someone who is easy-going, adventurous, funny, giving, social, forgiving, affectionate, nurturing, ambitious, passionate, and enthusiastic about life. Someone I can laugh with, share anything with, and dream with.
Meet someone special from United States. I'm the outgoing type, so I might as well admit that up front. I'll strike up conversations with strangers on a street corner, dealers in Tenderloin, tourists in the Ferry Building, anyone with a dog--it's all fine with me because life just wouldn't be much fun without a little color. I think I get it from having traveled a lot and realizing that a great personality can be found in the most unlikely places, and sure enough, time and again, it's proven to be true.
I'm active and like to bike, walk, do yoga, go hiking, etc. It's nice to just get out for a change of scenery so I'm not too fussy as long as I'm with good company. That said, I'm sure I have my high maintenance moments! But generally I'm up for anything and I really appreciate someone who takes initiative.
There's a long laundry list of places I'd like to travel in addition to the places I've already been so I suppose it's best to keep that passport handy, and wow, if you have a backgammon board next to that handy passport, even better.
All 'stuff' and travel aside though, I'd like to meet and be with someone whom I have fun with, and can banter with, and have great physical chemistry with, and who can forgive me for ending sentences with the word 'with'.
Please be in touch if any of this resonates with you, thanks.
