Date single man from California, United States. Appreciating the little things in life works great to maintain perspective. Awareness of mind body spirit, spending time outside and taking care of myself are as important as family and friends. I would probably be living in an exotic place or traveling about the world, but settled temporarily back in the bay area to be closer with my parents who have been married 51 years!
I'm always encouraging friends to join me on rides, surfing or just short trips. Mountain biking during the week is one of my favorite things to do, keeps me fit and gets me focused. My vibe is laid back, passionate and a bit sensitive. Definitely don't pay attention to bad drivers or other distractions that might muddle my positivity, this is an art.
My match is positive, spontaneous, we have amazing chemistry and she is down to try new things or take adventures. Quirky, curious, funny, confident are qualities I like. Important for a strong match is the minimum requirement of solid general intelligence. Intelligence outside the ones and twos, but a strong awareness. I also like that unspoken, hard to explain type connection, this can lead to an amazing relationship, and thats why I'm here.
Meet someone special from California, United States. Just wanted to talk to someone. Must be funny with a tough skin. No P.C.'s, holy types, or alcoholics with co- depent under tones. NO,really I'm a nice person. So if you want to have a fun chat.
I'm your girl.
Date people from California, United States. ME: I promised myself I'd give this online dating concept a try, so to give you a sense of who I am: I prefer a small group of close friends over numerous Facebook-type connections. I'm sufficiently intellectual and skilled at open-ended questioning so as to charmingly carry myself at a cocktail party. I consider a perfect morning to include waking up after a full night's sleep, going for a run, and then having a freshly-brewed, full cup of Peet's coffee with the perfect creamer-to sugar ratio, together with a warm pumpkin (or lemon) scone, then showering and getting back in bed. I've become more accepting of disorganization and chaos if it is in exchange for valuable time spent with family (I'm a mother of 2 little kids (7 and 4 years old) who live with me half of the time) or with good friends. But I do wish I'd remember to stop and smell the roses more often. Lastly, I'm told that I'm "tall." (I'm 5'7", which people seem to think is tall for an Asian woman, and I do wear heels, which add about 3-4 inches to my elevation.)
YOU: I'm hoping you're someone who shares similar interests as me, but yet have divergent interests that captivate me and that would open me up to new ideas and experiences. It would be great if we had a similar sense of humor and could naturally make each other laugh. If you don't take yourself too seriously (silliness can be attractive and endearing), are romantic (without being cheesy), and not afraid of a woman's height (see comment above about "ME"), even better. Lastly, communication is important in any relationship, so if you are comfortable expressing your feelings, not only in actions, but also in words, I'd consider that a total plus.
