I have been extremely busy these last few years working full time and pursuing my master's degree in nursing. I just graduated this past May and now have more time to enjoy my personal life.
I am originally from L.A. I lived in Santa Barbara for four years while I attended UC Santa Barbara, then moved back to L.A. In 2003, after graduating from nursing school at Santa Monica College, I moved to San Francisco (and never looked back!) and then to Marin six years ago.
My friends describe as outgoing, caring, dependable, and fun to be around. When I set a goal, I am determined to attain it and give it 110%. I also love to workout (it was running 10ks, marathons and half marathons, weight training, Crossfit, Olympic lifting, and now it's barre classes) - helps keep me balanced and sane. I believe exercise, along with healthy eating habits, are the best health insurance!
I am proud of my academic accomplishments and I think my medal from the 2000 Boston Marathon is pretty awesome!. I am grateful for my wonderful and supportive family, including my mom, brother and his family which includes two adorable boys, and my cousin and his beautiful family.
Though I don't watch that much TV, I do love watching The Colbert Report and The Daily Show - they both make me laugh out loud. And Family Guy!
