My life is pretty interesting but it's even more interesting when there's someone to share it with. In addition to everything else, I've done a lot of work over the years in the sports industry dealing with most major sports, but lots of pro tennis. Not sure anyone really knows what they are looking for so I'm open minded. I think everyone would like some levels of smart, funny, attractive and I'm no different. Being able to be happy in at least some (if not many) parts of one's life is important. So is being inquisitive--being a sponge for knowledge and life as I have always been. I look for what I call thoughtful people--both in how they treat people and in how they think. So, I guess that means I do know some of what I want. I've learned that you never know where great thinking will be found so I listen a lot. Fit and active are part of a good balanced life and I spend a lot of time on a tennis court (played in college, coached at all levels from junior to pro), training, working out, etc.--A very calm day for me is walking a few miles on the beach so it's important that someone in my life is active-minded. I just can’t seem to turn on my “marketing mojo” when talking about myself, but I suppose it’s better to just give you the straightforward lowdown.
I guess the best way to describe myself is that I’m an independent, easy going, free spirit who loves to laugh, avoids drama, and likes to see the best in people. Just like my music tastes, I find there are pieces of me that are all across the board. I like the finer things in life but a burger and beer are just as great as an expensive dinner out. In a lot of ways I�d say I’m a country type of girl having grown up in the Pacific Northwest camping and fly fishing, but there is also a city girl in me that finds something so energizing about being in a city like San Francisco or New York. But, San Diego has been my hometown now for some time and I totally dig it. Guess I'm officially a beach girl now. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of living by it. I love music and up until about three months ago played out with my band and had a great time writing and playing music. Day job, I run a marketing department. I’m confident, but not even close to being full of myself…however writing to this extent about myself in such a personal way for the first time is starting to make me feel like I’m gushing.
