I work in a stable position at a flexible company which allows me to 'play' as much as possible in my free time. I keep it healthy and work out in one way or another at least once a day. In February I finished the Tough Mudder race and I'm really proud of that! :-)
Some randoms.....I'm ambidextrous; I married two of my friends on the Bay; I almost made it on to Fear Factor; I consider Ben and Jerry good friends; Halloween is my favorite holiday; I play guitar, but I'm not a musician; I know when to use there / their / they're (and expect you to as well); I think penguins are hilarious; I really miss thunderstorms!
I have a great network of solid friends, and I consider myself very lucky for that. My family is very important to me and we stay close even though we're scattered around the country now.
At the end of the day I'm a pretty simple guy...I hate drama, and I'm never bored. I don't always like to have a plan; sometimes it's more fun to just get in the car and start driving. Besides, 'wrong' turns often lead to the best stories!! I just went on a road trip halfway across the country in May and it was outstanding.
As far as my match goes there has to be physical attraction, but natural chemistry and good timing are also needed for something to really work.

But I’m really more shy and reserved when I don’t have that persona on display. And sometimes that can be a challenge when meeting women. Almost makes me think of Clark Kent/Superman. Meet a man from United States. I'm originally from the Midwest, Decatur, IL to be exact. I'm told this makes me a little different than most guys in SD. I convinced my parents to move out here last fall, and they are loving it so I feel like SD is truly home.
As for my personality, it is quite unique.
One of my favorite artists is Lil Wayne. I work out enough to keep reasonably trim and that's it. Not into hGH or Muscle Milk..lol..ridiculous. I will never buy a racing bike, my beach cruiser is just fine. I think watching pro sports on TV is boring, but will drink a beer at a bar and pretend I am watching the game. I will take you to a Padres game though, only for the nachos and fanfare.
I live downtown and I like it because everything is within walking distance, like grocery stores, bars, banks, clubs, Nordstrom's...
That being said I'm trying to find a different place...meaning I'm over downtown. This came to me when having breakfast with a friend at Cafe Chloe (one of my fav spots) and after the second screaming fire engine and loud motorcycle ripped by I realized I am getting old and want some peace and quiet.

I'm normal, down to earth (this is the most repeated phrase I've seen on here), have a great career, and I'm house trained. I spend most of my free time in the mountains, but that's probably because I haven't had the time to learn how to surf yet. I love to snowboard, and try to go as often as I can in the winter.
