Date single man from Burbank, United States. I'm a straightforward, kind, thoughtful, somewhat sarcastic and generally hilarious guy. I like smart, spunky women, and will freely admit I have a thing for girls in glasses. If the word nerd applies to you from time to time, we should probably meet. :-) I like to keep my life fairly simple and free from unnecessary drama, but that doesn't mean I don't like to have fun, and I find every opportunity to laugh at the daily absurdity that living in Los Angeles presents. Underneath my nice-guy persona lies a passionate, confident, caring lover, so if you take some time to get to know me, I promise it will be worth it. ;-) Work-wise I guess I'm lucky in the sense I've pretty much always known what I wanted to do, so now it's just a matter of doing it better every day. I come from a small family of independent creative professionals, so while we don't do big 4th of July BBQs anymore, it doesn't mean we don't care about each other, it's just the way we are.
I think a good match for me is someone who is smart, creative, quick-witted, self-made and "real." I grew up on the East coast and still carry a bit of that attitude with me, hence the sarcasm, but it's never mean-spirited. :-) In the end, I just want to travel, enjoy great music and great food, and spend my time with my lover and best friend. Isn't that the point of life?
If this sounds good, drop me a line or a wink. I'm not looking for just a hookup, been there, done that, I'm ready for something real.

Meet a soulmate from Burbank, United States. Hi! Happy summer! :)
The best and easiest thing is just to be yourself always, and that is what I do, because personality to me is the most important trait in a person.
I grew up in a wonderful family, and I am very close to them. I worked hard for a few years in order to establish myself, but I have finally reached a point where I realize that things and experiences are better when shared.
I am romantic and a gentleman. I do things because I really mean them. I am dedicated and passionate about the things that really matter in life. Family and friendship are very important to me. I am a genuine person with strong values. I believe in honesty, loyalty, true friendship and definitely open communication in a relationship. It is so easy to speak up and more importantly to simply listen to the person you care about.
I did quite a few things in my life...played professional soccer, went to Law School, spent a year as a Navy Seal (yes, I jumped off cliffs and helicopters ;) until I finally found a career that I truly enjoy.
I stay positive and strong at all times even when it gets tough. I am fun, elegant, classy, adventurous and spontaneous.
The person I am looking for should be smart, elegant, classy, positive. I am basically looking for a best friend first, because when in a relationship, you need to have that before anything else...the rest will follow.
Now enough about me!! Looking forward to hearing about you! :)
Date a man from Burbank, United States. I guess I?ll give this online dating thing another try. Here?s the part where I try to explain who I am and who I?m looking for in 1000 characters or less. OK, here?s the short version: I?m an honest, hardworking guy looking to meet a beautiful, intelligent woman who will want to spend the rest her life with me.
OK, I?m done. Please respond?now!
Wow, I didn?t get many responses just then. Well I got one, but they were trying to sell me something. Perhaps providing more information about myself will generate a higher response rate.
OK, here?s the long version. Don?t say I didn?t warn you (Optional reading):
As I mentioned before, I?ve tried online dating before, and yes, I?ve met some really nice women, but so far, I haven?t been able to meet that special someone.
One thing I really like about online dating is that it allows me to filter out qualities that are not compatible with my lifestyle. For example, I?m NOT looking to date anyone who has kids, is super religious, obese, or speaks broken English. If this applies to you, I?m sure you?re a great person, but we?re not going to be a match.
Everyone else is welcome to send me a wink or an email anytime. It would be great if we enjoyed some of the same things just so we have something to talk about on a first date. It doesn?t matter what you do for living or how much money you make either. As long as you can pay your bills and you?re not involved in any illegal activities, we?ll get along just fine.
One note about employment: Again it doesn?t matter to me what you do for a living as long as you have time for dating. If you work 80 hours a week or you have so many social obligations that we can only see each other every other month, sorry, but that?s not gong to work for me either.
What kind of woman would I like to meet? I don?t want to get into details because I don?t want to discourage anyone from trying. I don?t care how tall you are, what kind of car you drive, or if you?re a redhead, blond, or brunette. I?m attracted to many types of women from many walks of life. Qualities that never go out of style: Good sense of humor, honesty, compassion for others, and a positive outlook on life (nobody wants to date Debby Downer)
OK, enough of the do?s and don?ts. Here?s what makes me tick:
I go to the gym 4 days a week, snowboard during the winter, and I attend baseball games in the spring ? Go Angels! Despite taking lessons, I?ve come to the conclusion that dancing and surfing really aren?t for me, but I do enjoy trying new things. This year, I want to try scuba diving and Karaoke. Next year, I will finally take that cruise to Hawaii.
They say a picture speaks a thousand words. I think my photos tell a pretty interesting story. What you see is what you get. No, I don?t have something in a different size in the back room. I take care of myself, try to eat right, but I also enjoy eating pizza and drinking beer on the weekends. I have a couple of degrees on the wall, but I was mostly a B student in college. I?m not a rocket scientist or a literary giant; however, I can wire-up a home theater system and I know the difference between it?s, its, there, their, they?re, your, and you?re. If you need more than that, call NASA or open up Strunk & White.
I?m sure I could write a novel about my likes and dislikes, but ultimately, the only way we?re going to find out if we?re a good match is for us to go out. So what are you waiting for? Act now and I?ll throw-in free shipping and handling.
Good luck and happy hunting?

Date single man from California, United States. ***On June 5, 2012, I will close this account. During my year-long subscription I have been viewed over 2,300 times but I'm still single. I think it wise to place my focus elsewhere.***
Friends describe me as passionate, honest, intelligent, caring, loyal, humorous, athletic, an amazing conversationalist and most of all, someone who recognizes that the finer things in life are better shared :-) I have a great appreciation for all the arts. I have a total sweet-tooth. One last thought-- Your Mother Will Love Me!!!
Laughter is like music to me so I need a girl with a sense of humor.
I'm currently training to be a massage therapist. For the past ten years I have supported myself as a performer and commercial actor. No, I don't work in a restaurant. I actually get paid to act.
This online thing is just a way to open an avenue to a dream.
