A little about who I am. First off; I am single with no kids, I work full-time and I am a college graduate who has been taking some time off of school and is ready to go back. I am a 36 years old Mexicano/Chicano who has a strong social, cultural and political consciousness. I am very cultural, I know who I am and take pride in who I am. I am educated, and I place a very strong value on education. Although I am not religious, I am very spiritual. I consider myself very honest open minded and upfront, although I can be sarcastic and spontaneous at times; overall I am fun to be around with and I am a great loyal friend. I come from a very large family, I mean a very large family so I am family oriented; my nieces and nephews could vouch for me. Plus coming from such a large family, that means that there is always something going on such as a birthday party to attend or the occasional wedding or quinceanera. I also have a large group of good friends and I am open to meeting new people and making new friends and I always look forward to having new experiences. On top of all that, I am a pretty decent cook and an even better bartender. I break many of the stereotypes associated with Latino men when in comes to Machismo, at least when it comes to the negative aspects of it.
As for what I look for in a woman, very much the same characteristics that I have to offer. What I place the strongest emphasis on is honesty and integrity,a woman has to have integrity! I am very attracted to a woman who is strong independent and is full of confidence; there is nothing more appealing than a woman who knows who she is, what she wants and is not afraid to go after it. Also, a sense of humor would be really nice, a person must be able to laugh at themselves at times; one can not always take everything in life seriously. I am well on my way to achieving my goals so it would be nice to have some one aid me in that process instead of hindering me. Although looks are great, I've learned to realize that they are not everything; a positive attitude, a great personality, intelligence and depth greatly outweigh looks any day. I have also made it a goal to travel more this year, especially with Summer nearly approaching so I am looking for a travel partner; it would be nice to have someone to take some much needed road trips...
