I am family-centric; even though I have my own place, it's within 10 miles of my parents and most of my siblings. As the second oldest, my younger brothers and sisters tend to head my way when they need something. I am always there for them.

I tend to get along with everyone. Not sure if it's my easy going, non-confrontational nature or the fact that I intensely dislike drama, but I prefer things to stay on an even keel. Being genuine matters to me, and I accept everyone for who they are. I like to be out and busy, and will cop to being a closet health nut. I've even researched smoothie recipes and am testing which ones I like best.

People say that my laugh sounds like my dad's, which I take as a compliment. Something else I'd like to share with him is his dedication to his marriage. My parents have been married for more than 30 years but still act like silly love-struck kids when they're together. It seems like they can't get enough of each other; they always want to be together, are always holding hands, and the admiration and love that my dad has for my mom is something I'd like to experience in my own life someday.

And I'm in a place where I'm ready to settle down and live that life. I'm silly and goofy, and think that a great sense of humor is the best asset you can carry through life, but I'm also thoughtful and just a bit shy around new people. I go out of my way for those I love, am mindful with my words and do my best to always be respectful and positive.

Respect matters to me, especially when conflicts or differences of opinions arise. I tend to be attracted to thinner, attractive women who have energetic and outgoing personalities. There's an energy about some women that lights up a room, and I'm always captivated by that. A sweet and giving nature is also important. I find the desire to help others and contribute something to the lives of others very attractive.
