I thoroughly enjoy my life (even the hard days). I like to think of myself as the best of both worlds i.e; college educated and street-smart. I don't work 9 to 5 or live for the weekends. I love my job, (Firefighter/EMT) and love my free time. I'm equally happy lying on a beach or snowboarding in a blizzard. The outdoors inspire me, yet I hold a special place in my heart for occasionally spending a bit of quality time with the couch/tv. I’m somewhat of a news junkie and tend to be a wealth of seemingly useless trivia and facts re: current events and global politics. I'm good with tools, like getting dirty, prefer words over violence, enjoy helping others, petting dogs, cats and horses, trips to the mountains, the beach, friends, cooking, kissing, poorly translated technical manuals, pin-up girls, pretty much anything Spanish and the amazing little culinary delights you can only get from street vendors in places like Florence and Istanbul.
I'm a fan of confidence but am usually more impressed by someone who can bare their soul with a smile. I've been told I clean up well and look damn sharp in a suit, but tend to prefer jeans and a t-shirt.
